... out of this little box is nothing short of amazing. Even at high volumes
The sound out of this little box is nothing short of amazing. Even at high volumes, it's clear and undistorted. As a long-time 'budget audiophile', I seek devices that put out a reasonably flat frequency response for what they are, and this little box easily keeps pace with devices costing 4x-5x the price. There are rough edges, to be sure, and you should know about them before throwing down the modest amount of money. The firmware sucks, to be be honest. The speakers always powers up at maximum volume, making a woofy 'doot doot' sound. Don't try to sneak up on anybody while turning it on or, alternately, time the sneaking so the 'doot doot' happens right as you're standing behind them! It also always tries to pair with a Bluetooth device, no matter what. A slightly more intelligent firmware would look to see if a cable was plugged into the aux input, and cancel the pairing startup if it found one attached. No such luck here. There's also no way to suppress the vocal 'pairing', 'connected', and 'pairing NOT successful' prompts. Great gag for blind dates...So, after one survives the minor ordeal of waiting for the pairing process, and listening to the emphatic female voice telling you the outcome, you're in the clear until the next time you power this lil' puppy up. I also noted a few very minor manufacturing defects, like a slightly bent tab on the metal grille that made one area of the rubber surround bulge a tad. These are minor things easily addressed with a small pair of needlenose pliers. In short, it gets a 5 for hardware design, sound quality, battery life (which is FANTASTIC for a 1000mAh battery), and general art-deco-esque-ness. It gets a 3 for the crap firmware and small manufacturing deviations. Thus, we have a 4-star device that is seriously worth your money if you're more forgiving about the inflexible prompts and automatic pairing behavior.

I would like to say that I am 110% satisfied with this ...
First, I would like to say that I am 110% satisfied with this portable blue tooth speaker! I have been looking around for a good wireless speaker for some time and I love to bargain hunt when I want to buy something I really want. As an individual that likes to spend copious amounts of time making the best out of my bucks, I have to say that this purchase was by far my best experience yet! I spent some time reviewing this speaker and matching it up with others that were on sale, but at the end I just had to jump at this little beast and snatch it up.A few things about this wonderful speaker :The size of this speaker is perfect for any occasion and it really awes you how much quality and bass it puts out. This is by far the best sounding speaker I have ever owned and I dare say it sounds a hundred fold better than my computer speakers that are a 2.1 set up. The design is perfect to me and I'm quite happy with how sturdy it feels. All of the buttons feel spot on and there has been a lot of craftsmanship put into this thing. Long lasting battery and reasonably quick charging is a plus for me. 10 hours of Wireless play. 12 hours with the aux. cable. About 3 hours to fully charge and it can play while charging.I got the Liztek PSS-100 for one heck of a deal if I do say so myself! With its reduced price already and having a 25 dollar amazon card, I paid literally like 11 dollars for it! I love bargain hunting and this was the best bargain hunt I've had yet!

Nice speaker
This is a good, affordable little speaker. The sound quality is pretty nice, and actually rather impressive for what it is. For this price you can buy two of them, and with some creative wiring and adapters send only the left channel to one speaker, right channel to the other. Stand them up vertically and you have yourself a regular stereo system.Where this thing loses a star is in its odd quirks. I'm not using the bluetooth functionality, but I can't figure out how to turn it on without it scanning (and then eventually interrupting the music saying it failed to make a connection). The flashing light on top flashes a bit too much, trying to sleep with it, you have to cover up the light... would also be nice if the volume control on the speakers would remember the setting you had it on whenever you turn it off. Possibly another nice feature that could have been added is the ability for the speakers to conserve battery life and go to sleep / power off after a period of time of no signal from a line-in or bluetooth.Otherwise though, for the price, really nice little speaker.

No better no worse...
I am rather surprised by all the super positive comments. Perhaps when factoring in the price it is a good deal but......like so many of these inexpensive portable Bluetooth speakers, don't expect anywhere near super-quality sound and virtually none them project the low end (bass) decently. It just ain't gonna happen folks so when you read, "yeah, great bass, rocks the house, yada, yada" the reviewer is full of poop (I don't know what they are smoking). The best you can hope for out of these midget boxes for under $50 are clean highs and low distortion at high volume, that and quick pairing. Beyond that, there is not a whole lot of difference between any of them. I wouldn't spend hours reading reviews or auditioning scores of models to find that perfect wave. The Liztek PSS-100 does the job and it's hard to beat the price. I returned mine however and for about $20 more got the new OontZ Angle Plus. Cleaner sound overall, longer play time on a charge, but as expected bass is lacking, no surprise.
