Our first keyboard arrived damaged in shipment. The box was too flimsy to survive the US postal service. The keyboard had a 45 degree bend in the circuit board - not good. To their credit, the vendor shipped us a new keyboard (in a better box). It arrived about a week later. By that time my wife was out of town - with her notebook - with the failing keyboard - on an extended trip. So we had to wait a month to see if the new one would fit and work. It did, the replacement took about 45 minutes. The vendor was very attentive and wanted to make certain we were happy with the product. Thank you Eathtek.

The keyboard (matte finish) was the correct fit. I received the package with a corner slightly bent. The cardboard wrap on the inside kept the keyboard from damage, but luckily it wasn't any worse. The sensitive keyboard could have been easily damaged with a bigger bend. It took awhile to find correct information on how to replace keyboard. CAUTION- I had to partially lift out hard drive to get the last few screws...they are hidden.

Instead of trying to replace the keys that I lost on my laptop, I ordered a complete keyboard. It was the best idea ever. It came just as stated and it only took a few minutes to replace. No hassles.

I have the dv6-2190us laptop. I spilled on the keyboard making half of it not work. Sometimes it would even type on its own. I purchased this for $21 and it works great! I had some issues installing it mostly bc I was scared I would break something. Although it can be done at home if you know how. So I had bestbuy install for $50. They said had I bought the keyboard from them it would have been well over $100 for the keyboard alone. Great price! Very pleased. The only difference from the original is it was glossy. I have had my laptop 3 years and once again I LOVE it.

Fit perfectly although the touch is very light...and the finish doesn't match the lap top finish,isch is shining and not matte.

Worked exactly as described. It absolutely feels like a new keyboard. We tested all the keys, which worked perfectly. No complaints. Our client is very happy. The picture is of the keyboard we replaced. Forgot to take one after installation.Warning: If you client is picky, this product is a MATTE black and not a PIANO SHINNY BLACK. My client loved the matte look of the keyboard so no issue for us.

For the value it works great. You can tell the difference though between the original and the replacement.
