The boil-and-bites I've used in the past worked OK but and after watching a fellow boxer spit out one of his incisors after a sparing session at my gym (while wearing a boil-and-bite) I decided to go with a higher quality product. I've got weird teeth so after a ton of research I decided that something from a mold of my actual mouth would work best. The reviews from Impact's customers showed lots of love and loyalty for their custom guards and their prices are crazy reasonable so it seemed worth a shot.I purchased my mouth guard from Impact about six months ago and have put it to regular use every week since in both boxing and NoGi grappling. It is a fantastic product I have and will continue to recommend to anyone who does any kind of contact sport and who cares about their mouth.Pros:- Easy mold process. I thought for sure I would have a bit of trouble with getting the mold of my teeth right. Nope! The kit Impact sends you contains clear instructions (with pictures!) and a spare round of the dental putty just in case the first imprint isn't right. If you're nervous about getting it right, Impact also provides an email address so you can snap a pic of your first impression and send it to them. If it looks good they'll tell you to send the mold in. If it needs to be re-done they'll give you some tips and you can try again.- Tight fit. The Impact guard fits so well I can almost forget it's there (seriously, I sometimes ask my sparring partner a question and wonder why I'm talking funny). In 6 months of getting hit in the face it hasn't slipped once. In fact when I first put it on I was worried that it might be too tight. There was some mild pinching/rubbing under one of the top corners.[SOLUTION: soak your guard in warm (NOT hot, just warm) water for about 5 minutes and wear it around the house a couple of times. Did that for the first week and now it's one of the most comfortable pieces of gear I own.]- Protection (obviously). I purchased the 3-5 mm thick version and was surprised at how much protection I get from what seems like not much material. This thickness works great for me in boxing and grappling (and probably most other contact sports). Impact makes a 6-7 mm thickness for heavier contact sports (MMA, Muay Thai, Boxing, etc...). I'll probably upgrade once I start Muay Thai and get knees, elbows, and kicks thrown at my face but the 3-5 mm is definitely a good entry-level thickness.- Customer service. Impact is proud of their product and they want you to be 100% satisfied. I received fast, helpful, friendly service by email and over the phone.Cons:None so far...Tip:Take advantage of Impact's dental, imprint storage option. It's not expensive and the ability to get a second or third guard quickly is awesome! There's nothing worse than getting to the gym and realizing your amazing guard fell out of your bag somewhere, is lost forever, and you have to miss out on sparring for a couple of weeks while your new impression kit gets mailed back and forth (hasn't happened to me yet but I lose things easily and it's only a matter of time).

it’s really that good. It takes a while to get it back but the quality is really there. Once you try it, you’ll never accept any other mouth guard. 3 or 4 guys at my gym have converted after seeing me talk, drink and breathe with my mouth guard in. It stays put, and that’s really rad. It hooks on the top of your gums so it can get you sore but after a while it gets better. Tip: if you bend the top out while putting it in, it’ll prevent the painful scrape.I can’t recommend this product enough. 100% satisfied.Oh also, I use the denture tablets when cleaning this and it works really well.

If you want to purchase this item, I would recommend to go their official website.I thought it is ok and it would be smooth purchase and set order when I pressed the bottom to buy it.Then I received the item and read and watch instruction, got form my teeth, send it back to them with their label.After I checked the tracking number, they received it, and wait for a week. I didn't receive any email from them. So I contacted.Their response was, they didn't find my teeth form.They said update to me next day, but they didn't.I kept send follow up email (even I am a customer) and remind them, but they couldn't give me answer.They said order from Amazon, they handle use different tracking systems, and lab was busy.For me, Lab was busy , I don't care, just give me estimate lead time, update estimates schedule to ship back or finishing.And they said order from Amazon is different systems. So why they sell their item at amazon??I would not buy this product from Amazon anymore, and I would not recommend to purchased this item from Amazon.
