Rancho 9000 Series Shock Absorber
I ordered this shock (along with one for the other side of course) for a 2005 4WD, Toyota 4Runner, and matched them with the Rancho "Leveling Strut". The strut system also contains the RS000 series shocks. The installation was painless and quick, I jacked up the rearend and removed both tires for easy access. These are adjustable units, both manual and wireless remote however, the remote control is sold separately. I started off with the fronts set at "4" and rear at "3" just to start off, and the ride has been great so far. I will need some time to mess with the settings, but the ride is so much better than stock I'm happy with it as is for now. Rancho has some adjustment recommendations on their website, which I found when checking into the remote unit. They have the remote pre-programmed to: Sport, Work-Tow-Haul, Off Road, Highway & then a "My Ride" setting where you can enter your preferred settings. More than likely I will find what I feel is the best overall setting, and then leave it alone. Otherwise, I would probably purchase the remote unit, as I just don't see myself crawling under the vehicle to make changes that often. The adjusters are easy to reach, but I suppose it will just depend on your ambition to make changes to the settings. Overall, I'm very happy with this setup, it was an easy installation and affordable compared to other items on the market. From what I am told these are somewhat comparable to the Bilstien 5100 series, with the Bilstiens being a little ahead but also a little more money.

Very happy... Work well.
So far so good. (5k miles) I installed these myself as it was really quite easy. Installed in to a 2003 4-Runner Sport V8 And WAY cheaper than replacing with Toyota's factory hydraulic sports shocks and to be honest, the vehicle feels just as well planted with these shocks as it did with the factory X-REAS mess.

Work better than the 12 yr old shocks i just replaced
Going to do some off road soon. wanted something that I could adjust as needed.

the regulators are very bad quality they using the same system for more than 30 years ...yes its american but the control quality is bad and the paint its bad too, they got rusty very fast ...you can not compare the quality of a bilstein shock with rancho , not even close or any other quality brand...de ride is normal and looks kool thats all ...to be fair the price is to high they are overpriced
