50959 16 Ounces Overhaul Heavy Cut Polishing Compound-16oz

This replaced my good old rust colored heavy compound that I've used for years. It polishes really well, and has uniform grit, and so far, doesn't leave scratches like my old stuff sometimes did. I really like this product!

Needed for a small cut and buff job at home. This compound took out 1000 grit excellent and worked perfectly. AND MADE IN USA !!!!!

I don't have our feel the need to buy the expensive then crazy packaging looks of the other products. There is always those companies that just give what you are expecting. This worked out great took out scratches swirls and i just let product do the work. I did use lambs wool to remove product instead of hand wiping it off. It just w worked great.

Maybe this a good chrome polish at best. Dries quickly and is crazy hard to remove. If you get it on plastic or in a nook, you are in for twice the work. Took me 2 rounds with a clean polisher to get the majority of residue off. Then I had to use a better product to even out the paint. It didn't remove any minor paint scuffs, its own dried residue, or clearcoat depth scratches. Another Amazon scam product with excellent reviews. Use a different product.

I used this after wet sanding with 2000 grit sandpaper. It worked great to remove the sandpaper scratches. If it was a light color car you could probably get away with waxing after the polish. My car is black so I needed to polish before waxing.
