Works great!
Works great! Had for almost a year and no damage so far. Dries quickly when it does get wet and it totally keeps rain off of my bag. I also use it for covering the milk crate I've lashed to my bike rack when I carry more things. Just don't expect it to keep EVERYTHING dry, since it does really only cover the front side of the bag. The straps will get wet.

Great customer service and beautiful, well-made bag.
Dream Lin bags are beautiful and well-made. (I'm a girl and ordered the pink). Their customer service is efficient and helpful. Please note: I have not yet tested the waterproofing function, so I cannot speak to that end (this weekend I'll try splashing water on it to test). The bag comes in a small carrying case - of the same material - and the width fits perfectly in my backpack's side mesh pocket (that is meant to hold the width of a water bottle). The bag itself appears very durable. The reflective strip is both functional and adds a decorative touch (without the reflective strip the bag on top of my backpack would've looked like a blob).Essentially, I second the most popular Kryne's review and hope my bag is as durable as W. Horky's experience.all in all, 5/5 for me. Thanks Dream Lin!

Seemed to work great, a little small
I recently took this on a trip to Ireland knowing there was the potential for lots of rain. I only needed to use it a few times in minor rainfall and it worked great to keep my backpack dry. I was never in pouring rain, however, so I cannot attest for how well it works in heavy rain. The straps to keep it in place on the backpack are great. The strap running top to bottom was a little tight, however, and didn't expand enough to snap with ease when the bag was full. I had to force it and was concerned the strain might rip the cover. I have an Osprey Talon 22 backpack. Any bigger and you should probably get the next size up with the cover. One issue with a backpack this size, any cover is going to inhibit the shoulder straps because it doesn't have the upper portion that rises above the shoulders a larger backpack will have. That isn't the fault of this rain cover, but just be aware, when the rain cover is on, it does make the backpack fit a little weird as it does have to come over the top of the backpack in order to stay on and do it's job.

Fits Gregory packs
I don’t usually like to write reviews before fully testing a product- but I bought this in a pinch before a trip to the Smokies. My partner and I have Gregory packs (Jade 28 L and Juno 24 L) and I needed something cheap to throw in in case of rain. For the price, you can’t beat it. I have NOT used in the rain yet- but the material feels good and repellent. I ordered size medium for both of our packs. Very glad I did. It fits the Jade like a glove. The Juno for some reason seems to be at the max height limit (even though it’s a smaller capacity/shorter torso height than the Jade). BUT it does fit just fine. Because of the VaporSpan (trampoline) back on the packs, I may only use the horizontal buckles. On the Juno- the buckle sits right at the base of my neck and could be bothersome. But it feels secure enough I could use just the horizontal strap that fits really well underneath the trampoline back.TLDR; size medium works for Gregory 24-28 liter packs. Vertical strap may bother long term, but could probably just use the horizontal one. Good value for money.**EDIT TO ADD AFTER USE**Well, we did get caught in a mountain downpour! Unfortunately we weren’t able to get the covers on quick enough to tell if they would really keep the water out. However, once on, water seems to roll off and I will be spraying with a water proof, to reinforce. They went on pretty easily, and I did use both sets of buckles. Overall I am very happy with my purchase. Hopefully next time I’m caught in the rain I can get mine on faster!

Everything stays completely dry now, so happy I found this!
My son has to walk 2 miles to and from school everyday and we live in rainy Washington state, so we're invested in a good backpack that was waterproof. Well almost waterproof, we found out the hard way that anywhere near the zippers the rain could get through and it actually ruined a couple of his assignments that he had to redo. So I went on a search to find a better backpack but ended up finding this rain cover instead. It works GREAT! My son has finally stopped complaining about having to walk to school in the rain because he no longer has to stress about his papers or laptop getting wet and ruined. Everything stays completely dry plus it has the added safety of the reflective strip so now he can be seen better as he's walking in the early morning hours.

Backpack protector
This the best investment I could make. I love the fact that someone came up with this idea!!! Will purchase another when this one wears out.

Great product. Measure your bag carefully for best fit.
I really like this cover so far. I've been using it for the past month both in the rain and when walking home at night. Heck, I'll throw it on when I'm biking to class in the morning just as an extra precaution. Keeps my notes dry and myself visible to the crazy drivers around here.Unfortunately, I measured my backpack incorrectly, so the cover doesn't quite fit around the entire circumference, especially when I have to cram several extra books in my bag. A bit of my bag near my back is usually exposed on both sides, but so far, this has not been an issue for me. I normally have an umbrella and/or a poncho with me, so unless the weather is really, really weird, that part of my bag doesn't get wet.Overall, a great purchase and one that I'd repeat.

Not just for backpackers ... :)
For over 10 years I've carried a leather purse backpack made by Sven Bags of Berkeley, California. I've wore the pack in all types of weather - dry and broiling, snowy and rainy. I just bought a larger version and decided this time I'd buy some sort of cover when I walk in downpours and snow (we live in the Pacific Northwest). The small size fit perfectly, cinches up neatly and works great.

Such amazing quality for the price
I am so in love with this backpack cover. The measurement guides provided were spot on and what I ordered was the perfect fit for my backpack. The pink colour was as shown which I am very pleased with. I love that it has TWO adjustable clips/straps so there's no way this is coming off your bag. It came in a small pouch with a carabiner hook. Very happy and would definitely repurchase.
