Doesn't last very long
Although most lipstick won't last through heat and wear, this one didn't last for more than an hour. Still a pretty shade though.

SHANY like the brand very much, quality and price - color of lipsticks as depicted WAY off!
I discovered this brand by accidentally ordering the liquid blush in the little pump bottle. Have been consistently ordering it for the past two years and I love it. I even put a dab in my foundation and mix it in my hand.Thought I would try the lipstick and ordered the "Captivate Me" shade which appears to be a pretty pink. Well, the lipstick itself is great. Smooth and creamy. Goes on very well. And for the $9 it can go head to head with much more expensive brands (just like the blush).However, rather than being pink, Captivate Me is more orange in color. No hint of pink. It's not an objectionable orange at all. It is muted and it looks very good on me.I thought to take my monitor into consideration, but consistently other reviewers are saying the same thing. The colors are way off.My suggestion is that they reshoot their lipsticks on this page. I for one would order other colors but hesitant because of the flat out guessing game.SHANY: Do love your quality and price range!

excellent lipstick for the price
Shany apparently prides themselves on making high quality makeup for less and they manage quite well. This isn't as high quality as some of the most pricey makeup, but it's higher quality than your normal drugstore brands for a lot less. I have ordered lots of things from this company, and have been quite pleased. This color is also a favorite... kind of neutral, kind of coral and a touch of mauve.

Not at all the color shown
This color looks exactly like the shade I wanted but it is not at all. It is much darker and has very warm overtones where as the photo is much lighter with a much "cooler" lilac tone. Very disappointed.

Much darker than pictured; totally BROWN
"Amour" did not have any magenta/red as in the picture. It was completely DARK brown; almost Gothic. Thick lipstick; didn't last after a meal, just had a trace of color left. Maybe it would stay better with a lip liner?

Not the color as shown
I had to return this lipstick onky because the color was much darker then what shows in picture. It's great lipstick otherwise. Very creamy and moist. Applies very well.

My review is a 3rd party one, as the lipstick was a gift for my 21 yr old niece. But to use her words, "I love it! It's the truest Victory Red I have ever come across, and it lasts all day. It's perfection, Tia!" 😉 💗💄
