KYB 344480 Excel-G Gas Shock, Black , Silver

It was super easy to install. It took around 45 minutes per side since I've never done this to this van before. All new bushings were used. The old top hat was reused just cause I like how it looks. Ride quality is greatly improved and high freeway speeds are comfortable again. My 2004 Sienna jerked all over the road because one side was leaking and blown. The shocks would rebound at different rates and you could feel and see that while driving 60-70 MPH. I gladly bought the matching front struts to install next week when they arrive. Only thing I didn't mind for were the instructions. If you follow the pictures you'll quickly find that the assembly diagram for the bushings are incorrect. If you want to save 5 minutes, the old bushings and washers are perfectly fine to reuse.

I installed these shocks on my 2012 Toyota Sienna XLE. The van had developed quite a few rattles and bumps that became unbearable. We even considered replacing the vehicle completely. I'm glad we didn't do that, because these shocks drastically improved ride quality and smoothness. I'm actually....shocked. Installation was NBD, took about 2 hours start to finish in my driveway. If you've never worked with jack stands and a good jack, go ahead and have someone professionally do this for you. This is somewhat of a varsity job as once the vehicle is on jack stands, you'll then need to use the jack to bring up each rear axle/wheel assembly individually. Can be intimidating if you've never done that. The original shocks were not even the right model number. SMH. Whoever worked on this van last (we bought it used- it now has 130,000 miles) used the wrong part number, so those shocks never worked as they should. These new ones have completely eliminated any road rattle or annoying bumps.

Excellent product. My van was noticeably hopping around on the freeways and rattle on big bumps. I opted for the higher pressure ones from the mobility access van, the shocks are longer and worried it would not fit. Luckily, fits and now it is tighter and performs real well. So easy to install, less than 20 minutes.

I installed these on my 2006 Toyota Sienna. I had to replace driver side rear shock because it was blown ( 7yrs of service is bad). It was easy enough that the setup took longer to do; than the actual install... Took me 20minutes to install both rear shocks and took me damn near 30minutes of prep... LOL!!! Either way it change the handling characteristic of the van. She seem to ride stiffer than with the stock shocks. The KYB Shocks themselves were aittle longer ( about an inch or 2) than the factor units they replaced. After the install the van felt really good and I could hardly feel the usual bumps and dips on the street I live in ... With these new shocks it seemed to dampened better going down the road. Overall very happy and for the price ... COME ON !!! $68 bucks to change this much of the ride quality ... worth every penny...

I bought the same KYB344480 shock absorbers 8 years and 70000 miles ago for an '08 Sienna. I'm now (04/25) starting to detect a chirping from those and some slight hint of abnormal tire wear, so time to refresh. I'm happy enough with the previous pair to buy the same. Last time I bought these, the shocks came with all the washers and rubber parts shown. This time all I received was the top nut. So I contacted KYB customer support via their chat and they sent me the missing hardware (see pic). Maybe I could have re-used the washers etc. from last time -- they looked ok. I would not have said the old ones felt worn, but there is a noticeable improvement in the ride.

Great part, exact fit for my 09 Sienna went with this one specifically because it is pictured as coming with new bushing but we're not included in the box.

Good quality product, great fit , very well priced.

Stay away from KYB unless you need a race suspension. Very stiff.

FIX MY CAR Toyota sienna 2009 CE

What is the box complectation? Mine arrived today with shock and nut only. No other washers or rubber bushings like it's on the photo. The shock doesn't seem like it's used or installed.
