They break! But it's plastic. This is the 3rd broken brush of this shape that's broken on me. And my hair isn't thick its just regular. After maybe 6 weeks of use I noticed the protective nubs on the bristles were gone. And the crack started at the handle. The other wet brush (Original) that I have has held up so much better.

It does deliver shine as advertised but is doesn’t easily go all the way through thick hair so you need to brush both from the top as well as underneath to smooth all your hair. Still love it.

my roots get greasy very easily but the ends of my hair are always extremely dry. This brush is a godsend. It distributes the oil from my scalp evenly throughout the lengths of my hair. This means less greasy roots and shiner ends!! I can go 1-2 days longer between shampoos and i don’t have nearly as much breakage as I used to.
