I used to use a bath mat, but they get wet and stay wet. This bamboo mat provides firm footing, the slats drop off excess water, and the product is considerably more attractive and hygienic than typical cloth mats. I certainly recommend this well made product.

This is my second try for the perfect wood bath mat for my newly renovated bathroom. I am so happy! It is a quality product. All slats are attached. The first one squeaked when I stepped on it. Sheesh, I'm not that big. This one has a nice finish that will help it last longer as long you as follow instructions. Which are don't leave it wet. Dry it off and lean it out of the way when not in use. That's what I'm going to do. I have a very small bathroom but a lot of accoutrements. I love a long luxurious bath in my new deeper tub and now the floor is a little closer! It really is perfect.

This product is well made & beautiful. My only issue is that they coated it with a shiny finish and it is slippery when I step on it with wet feet getting out of the shower. Unsure if I can use it in that application.

This product should NOT be used in the shower. Because of the clear coat applied to the top surfaceit presents a serious problem when the surface gets wet and extremely slick causing the user to slip and fall off in the shower. This problem leads to serious injuries which happened to my wife last week. I strongly advise Toilet Tree Products to include a WARNING in the product description and most of all in the USER INSTRUCTIONS!!!

I am using this in my bathroom as something to step onto when I get out of the shower. It's slick, polished bamboo, so I usually cover it with a cotton towel mat for showertime, but I love it! It is always warmer than the floor in the winter, and is also elevated a half inch or so, keeping any wetness away.Some reviewers mentioned mold growing after a while, but I have had no issues. I've used it about 6 months (usually with the towel thrown over for showers) and no mold at all. The bamboo is finished, so it's very moisture resistant and I just prop it up on the bathtub to air dry afterward.Highly recommended!

Should have gotten a bigger size, but it is not comfortable to stand on.

This bath mat was so beautiful and SO sturdy and well-constructed, I would have loved to have kept it but I mismeasured my shower base and the set I purchased didn’t fit when placed next to each other. But as long as you’ve measured correctly, you’ll certainly love these!

This thing is great. One family member had toe fungus and I think it was living in the fabric bath mat because it wouldn't go away, even if we washed the bath mat. Once we got this, the fungus resolved. The only problem is that it is raised above the ground, so you could stub your toe on it or trip if you weren't expecting it. I like it so much that I've just gotten used to that and it's not a problem anymore.

This very high quality, has a nice weight to it, and looks great!

Great but be careful as it can be slippery !

I was looking at a cedar version of this and was super pleased to find this one for less than half the price (but same design). It's definitely sturdy and very water repellent. I imagine it will be hard to clean between the slats but on the main surface it is very easy to wipe down.
