I wasn't sure about ordering a starter from Amazon. I knew nothing about this company. Took a shot. Product arrived VERY quickly and was just as advertised. Brand new and packaged very well. Exact replacement for my 2016 Silverado. Perfect fit.

replacing rusted wires and really tight fit into truck. Chevys fault of poor design placement.
Starter is small for a V8 5.3 liter and I keep wondering when it will fail again. If you put heavier oil than 5w20 it can have a hard time cranking the engine during a cold winter. It could burn out the starter which is why it has a warning sticker for only thin oil. This oil in summer will make the engine wear out a lot faster. so you must use Mobil One thin oil and thick 10w40 in summer. When I drive cross country in hot summer weather around 90 to 115 in the deserts and working the engine towing heavy loads up mountains, I go to 15w50. I makes the engine quieter and last 300K miles.

Wasn’t an AC Delco starter. It was a Valeo. So description was misleading. Seems to work well though as old starter had weak cranking and this one solved that issue. Time will tell.

This is not the part number you think your buying. There is an updated part number.I was bummed out because I could of purchased this starter at a cheaper price if I would of known that.However it is ac delco and an exact fit.
