Perfect Panettone
Every year, I feel oddly compelled to buy panettone and every year I wonder, "why do I buy this? It's foul." That was absolutely not the case with this brand. It does not suffer from that weird chemical aftertaste many of the brands do. It is also much, MUCH softer than any other brand I have purchased. I bought the smaller size fearing this to be just another panettone that sits in the kitchen growing stale(er) until it is thrown out at the end of January... We devoured this one in mere days. Yes, it is far more expensive than most but well worth the upgrade. I'll never buy another panettone — we'll maybe the larger size of this one. Ours shipped from JF Distributions as a box within a box and arrived in perfect condition.

One of the best I have ever eaten. Fresh and moist either the perfect yr turr snf amount of fruit. Expensive but worth it.

Smushed!
Amazon’s shipping box was unscathed. However the panettone was smushed. (See pics) Thus it was packaged with obvious smushage - the paper wrapping does not provide any protection in that regard... That said, the panettone itself tasted delicious; albeit a bit short on fruits. I try to be loyal to this brand; however next time I will purchase one in a tin.

Making it a new holiday tradition
Fresh, flavorful and festive for the holidays. This is the brand I'll be buying every year from now on. Hands down beats others on taste, texture and presentation. And I just created French Toast using it. Wow. Christmas just got a lot sweeter.

package fails, very very disappointed
I ordered this Panettone because I knew it would have a fantastic taste. It was meant to be on my dinner table on New Year's Eve. However, it was packed in a plastic Amazon bag, and it arrived flat and squished. It was supposed to be put in a box to avoid damage to the cake. It is such a shame for a high-quality cake, very delicious, to be delivered like that.

My dad loves Panettone. I did some Amazon research and this was one of the top rated. Worth every penny, it came fresh and delicious. Will be buying again!

A good Panettone if you do not like a lot of fruit
This was very moist but did not have a lot of fruit. We enjoy Panettone every Christmas. This one had less fruit than two other brands we purchased. Fortunately, we did not buy any as gifts. If you like Panettone without a lot of fruit, then this is a very good one.
