These are great... if you can get them on the dog. There are often warning labels on dog shampoos that tell you to cut off all escape routes prior to trying to bathe your dog because they become infinitely more crafty and certainly much smarter than you once they are wet.The same is true when you are handling glue!Actually I believe that when you are handling quick drying glue they become supervillains nay super evil geniuses! They aren’t devils in disguise because they aren’t disguised! They still look like your little angel, you just know better!Once you get the first one on, you by no doubt, no doubt, wasted 73 of the first efforts you feel incredible, like you can do anything! So you stupidly try a second one.... by the time you get one foot done you now invested 16 hours of your day and you are DETERMINED to get this done! And you do, you stand back and stare at your precious baby girl with the sweetest smile and realize that she will now refuse to walk on the floor now that you’ve ruined her feet.

They don't tell you that your dog can chew them off. I got them for my Cushing's dog that seemed to have yeasty feet and would itch her ear and make it yeasty. I have tried everything, but nothing has worked to stop her from spreading the "yeast." These went on easy. In fact, my 12 year old dog laid down and had no issues with me putting them on. I watched her for several hours and she seemed "fine" with them and didn't seem bothered by them. We went to bed. The next morning she had chewed most of them off. I thought, "ok maybe I need to try again." I had only put them on her 2 front paws. I tried replacing the ones she chewed off and then she was chewing them off without reguard to the superglue. She was willing to cause herself pain by chewing and pulling them off. She won. I didn't try anymore and will not repurchase.

Only had them on our husky puppy for a week now, but they REALLY work. I haven't had ONE scratch mark from her since we put them on and our leather couch is scratch free now too. Even when she does grab on to me with her paw, it doesn't hurt AT ALL. I'm going to be ordering more right away!I only gave it 4 stars because one cap came off after the first day or two, but that could have been a mess up when I put in on since she was wiggling around when I was doing it.

So these are really great caps, we had the groomer put them on our dachshund. Only issue? Several were missing by that night. He was able to chew most of them off, a couple of weeks later, only two remain. I know this isn't just an issue with this particular dog because my cat was able to get some of his off as well. All that said: While they're on, they're amazing.

These caps wore away the complete underside of my dog's nail (pink flesh exposed) and made them very painful for her to walk on.I am thinking it was from moisture stuck in between the cap and her nail. When I would take them off the nail was very soft on the top and literally seemed to decayed on the bottom. The tips also started to wear through within 5 days of use. I bought a lot of these and now have no use for them. She only had them on for 10 days before I noticed this happening to all of her toes. I do have photos if anyone wants to see.Seller was great and refunded my money but am worried for other dog owners that they will have this issue. I don't believe that only my dog had a reaction to them.

I had read a review from another consumer stating tat these nail caps were difficult to use, didn't stay on, etc. THAT IS NOT TRUE! These caps have been great. It is definitely a two person job, so maybe that's where other people have gone wrong. We Dremeled our German Shepherd's nails real short and my husband held her still as I glued them on. Other than looking at them funny for a minute, she has left them alone and they have been on for almost 6 weeks. Our dog is missing a rear leg, so they have been under even more stress than on a normal dog with no problem. I will definitely buy again!

These were a good product. I have ordered in the past and they lasted about a week and fit perfect. Some reason the size I ordered did not fit as expected. But still worked good. Very bright color.

I've had "jumbo" in another brand and they were almost too big for my 90lb GSMDSo when I got the XXL from this brand, I was afraid they would be too large again.But instead they were too small.. These might fit my 70lb lab, but too small to be called "XXL"
