We have two autistic preschoolers and in our home have windows that open in for easy cleaning, which make it easy for them to escape if they put forth effort. These locks were very easy to install and gave us much peace of mind knowing our kids could not get out thru their windows.

The locks jam and don't easily lock or unlock. Completely useless and downright dangerous in a fire. Both locks in the package were like this.
