Who Knows Where? - The Location Guessing Educational Family Board Game Where You Guess Famous Geography Locations on a map of The World.

I am a bit of a geography nerd and reasonably good at trivia. But the way the "easy" map is set up just knowing the answer to within a specific county and knowing where that country is isn't enough. So I could miss even if I know more or less what the clue is pointing to simply by not being sure where the grid references are. And since they set it up so that each team is able to pick spots on the map that others have chosen - or not (more points are given if you are the only one on the correct grid) it was possible for everyone to participate even if only one "knows" the answer. The flip side without country boarders would be even more challenging, of course, but for a mixed group the easy side works very well. It would be a great tool for learning geography and also can be just played for fun. Being good at poker would also work (I'm not) since you can intentionally mislead everyone if you want and if you can read how people react to a clue you can do pretty well just knowing whether the person or team that goes first actually knows something or is just making a wild guess. I saw this in a bookstore in Edinburgh on a trip to the UK. I am glad I didn't have room in my luggage because it was pretty much the same price through Amazon. I am not a big fan of the changes Amazon has made since JB stepped aside, but it's still the easiest place to find random stuff in new condition. So all in all, this is a great game and a great purchase that would work for almost every age, especially if you play in teams.

While we like geography-based strategy games, we sometimes avoid them because they can go on for daaayyys, or at least many hours. There is a large stack of well-reviewed games we've played just a time or two because they just take too long to fit into limited free time. Who Knows Where hits a great balance between being just hard enough, and being just long enough. We can play a game after dinner in 30 minutes. There are easier and harder choices for questions and for the board. The harder options are indeed much harder. The easier are a good mix of challenging items and "gimmes". That said, if you can identify half or more of countries, seas, and big cities on a world map, you'll do fine. If you can't pick out France or Japan, maybe not the game for you.

This is such an interesting game to play where you learn about world capitals and famous places and events. It can be pretty difficult trivia, so we’ve never actually played it the way it’s supposed to be played, but it’s still enjoyable to play for trivia and learning. We just guess on a lot of the trivia and we see who guessed the closest. The best part is we get to learn more about the world as we play.

Very fun game, can be modified in so many ways so a wide range of ages can play. We have played with ages 8-50 and we all enjoy it!

This game is excellent. Designed for 2-4 players or teams, every player guesses on each turn, so it is always engaging for everyone. It is challenging, but has multiple levels of difficulty to choose from. I can imagined that if after a few years, I know most of the answers on the easy side, there are three more levels to go. Everyone we have played it with really likes it. Easy to learn the rules. Very high quality board and pieces.

I love this game so very much. I played in while on vacation once, and then searched for it for two years before it became available! It is the most fun I have ever had playing a game.

Love the game but you need a magnifying glass to read the map on the easy side. A bit bigger landforms and print would make an excellent 5 star game.

Great game

Fun for all ages, and all levels of geographical knowledge as well as Trivia knowledge. Everyone who has played really likes it, and in fact I ordered 3 more for gifts.

Definitely learning plenty about geography outside the usual big cities. Lots of question cards, not going to run out any time soon.
