CRAFTSMAN V20 Cordless Jig Saw, 3 Orbital Settings, Up to 2,500 SPM, Bare Tool Only (CMCS600B)

Once again, Craftsman has hit a home run with another quality product in their V20 collection. I was struck with the size and weight of the saw- everything about it is top quality. It's hard to believe that a battery operated tool such as this can have such power. It is vibration-free and a real joy to use. The variable speed provides a high degree of control and finesse when a cut must be made with a delicate touch. Blade changing couldn't be easier, and to my surprise, all of the legacy blades from various manufacturers I had lying around fit the tool perfectly. As I have mentioned in other reviews, I have several Craftsman V20 tools and I enjoy using every one of them. You won't be disappointed with this saw.

I bought this jigsaw because I like the craftsman tools and bought this jigsaw because sometimes a jigsaw is better sometimes or better than a circular saw to do custom cuts this one cuts really good with a set of craftsman jigsaw blades it can cut with a smooth blade cut a smooth surface with little to no tare out on the wood my only grip with this jigsaw that is it’s too Bucky and there no light. I have a very old jigsaw that is more compact and has a light and has more settings on it with more angle adjustment my old one that is from worx can go from 0 to 22.5 degrees to 45 degrees the craftsman just has three settings and goes to 0 to 45 degrees has not have a 22.5 degree angle which would make my old one more valuable in using come on craftsman this is a basic jigsaw it should have more features I enjoy using a jigsaw but this one has no problem with performance just wish for more features.

solid build but light enough to use by anybody. I would suggest the larger capacity battery for any bigger jobs. I am no "artiste" but I wanted to cut some animal shapes out of plywood and it was easy to do.

Hola simplemente muy buena, no la he ocupado muchas veces pero la verdad funciona muy bien, aun usándola en la velocidad 0. Tengo una pila de 4 amperios y va de maravilla. La he usado en su mayoría para cortes de triplay y listonado de 16mm y sin problemas, cortes limpios, no soy profesional así que me ayudo de guias. Corté varios pedazos de 2x4 pulgadas y sin problemas, algo que me encanta es el cambio de cegueta, es muy muy fácil, en verdad se agradece no estar teniendo que cambiarla con una llave Allen y que si no se hizo bien se este botando. Los materiales muy buenos. Saludos y espero les sea de utilidad

I'm a long-time Craftsman owner. I still have many tools purchased from Sears--sadly, now long gone. So I had no hesitation when placing an order for this cordless jigsaw. Unfortunately, I live in a country where obtaining batteries and a charger is extremely difficult, and I did not realize this when placing an order for a "tool only" package. After exploring a number of very expensive options--some 2x-4x the price of the tool!--I reluctantly opted to return the item. So no issues with the tool or the Craftsman brand, which I still feel is top notch, but without easy access to--and reasonably priced!--batteries and chargers in non-US markets, it becomes a non-viable choice. So before you buy, check whether you can get a battery and/or a charger without paying an arm and a leg.
