this product is not as advertised at all. There is no hinge what so ever, both sides have the latches for a total of 4. That in of it self is securing but as much as other options. I actually like that the lid is completely removeable and was a pleasant surprise.The linen and fabric is soft to the touch but had stray threads. I had to trim about 5 of them, one was about 5 inches long and the rest being less than an inch (I ordered two). Minor complaint but for the money, you'd think this wouldn't even be apparent.The window is NOT GLASS, it's is PLASTIC. This was the biggest selling point to me when I was looking at other similar products. Huge disappointment.There was some type of translucent film that had to be removed in order to look through the plastic lid. Thing is, the film was on the inside between where it also attaches to the frame of the top. Parts of this film got stuck between the plastic lid and the top frame. It was difficult to completely remove without damaging the adhesion of the plastic window to the top frame since the film has some type of adhesive to the window.Wood feels fine for the size, slightly flexible but feels secure enough for jewelry. I bought this for my crystals and gems and they fit relatively fine. The depth is pretty nice.Overall, One star for hinges, stitching quality, and complete lie in adversitement in saying the window is glass. I received one with a plastic window. I will be returning one of two of the boxes since my crystals all fit in one box. I got two for future use as my collection expands and will keep one as this is the only box I found with this many spaces that adversities a 'glass' window. Despite how I feel about it, its alright but not worth the price. Maybe 25 dollars but no more for the plastic window.

I purchased this for my mother that seems to put her earrings down everywhere and can't always find matches. I put all her small/med earrings in here and they look great, are easy to access and none get lost. Vey important - the lid secures closed pretty well - so nothing spills out.I'll be buying another one. The only thing, which is on me, is that she has some larger earings (and I'm not talking very big) that simply don't fit. I'll have ot find something similar with bigger slots.

It’s made with fabric so unsure if it will be easy to dust off. Has see through cover which is nice. There are no hinges connecting top & bottom which I didn’t like. Each box is the size of a tip of a thumb so a ring or thin necklace can fit but hoop earrings cannot. I like it enough to keep but also had to buy another one with larger box sizes for my bigger necklaces & earrings.

I love this box. I use mine for jewellery. Plugs, tunnels, & some extra o-rings. It holds them all. The only issue I have is that it is not hinged on the back. The front & back are identical, so you have to remove the top glass entirely to put things in & take them out.

Nice item but I was looking for more of a case like thing
