Ultimate multi-purpose rubber pads! Use them as feet, sound dampers, etc.
These rubber pads are great! And it has multiple uses. I was looking specifically for rubber and not foam because of the grip and longevity it would provide. When I started looking for rubber pads it was because of my sim racing rig, but with the amount that come in a pack I figured they'd go well in the kitchen cabinets and drawers too. First off, I put them in my gated TH8A shifter after seeing a reddit post using something like this to dampen the noise from shifts. Because of the dome shape of the pads, placement is crucial. But these are still effective. I also plan to use this at the end of a couple of u-bolts for a custom handbrake mount. So I had a bunch left and walked into the kitchen. I had painted all my cabinets and drawers black, so these blend in very nicely. After installing I thought, "why didn't I do this sooner?" The contact on closing is now dampened to barely audible โ depending on hard you close stuff of course. Combine these with dampened hinges and I'm sure you'd eliminate almost all noise. These are originally slightly thicker than I anticipated, but after seeing how they deform with each shift, it's just right. If they were thinner they wouldn't be able to do their job properly. The same goes for the cabinets. The dome shape probably gives it a progressive tension, slowly applying more force as it gets compressed down โ which gives you the nice sound dampening. Adhesion is what you might expect from something this small. The backing paper is 3M, so this is about as good as you'll get. Try not to unstick and restock them too much, or they'll lose their hold completely. Also too much heat on these might make them lose some adhesion too. As far as sheen, they're a little shinier than I expected as well, but I suppose for most projects this won't be an issue. They're not that big anyway, and they still have a nice grip to them.

Good sticky back and great on wet counter
These are great...they have a great sticky backing and reduce noise on cabinets. Also very little slipping on the counter even when wet.

They are very small
The bumbers are smaller in diameter than expected, very firm, and a little thicker than I wanted, but I think they will work satisfactorily..

useful
I keep glass jars on a tile shelf and they make a horrible noise when they slide, plus I'm worried about scratches. So I got these little stick-on bumpers to prevent that. They are quite sticky, but repositionable if you don't get them right the first time. The jars no longer slide, and I'm not worried about damage now, either. They'll last me for a long time.

Poor adhesive
Its easy to install alright but the irs coming off already. Not a strong ahedive used to keep it on. You have to keep replacing these regularly n its meant onky for static things.

so far so good
I have a few wooden cutting boards that have lost their their rubber feet. I purchased these as a replacement. They are very small, but work fine. They stick to the wooden board and can be washed by hand. Like all pads they will likely eventually fall off. There are enough of them that I can replace them for years without a reorder.

3M backing/adhesive sticks well, 4+mm tall
The images that accompany this review compare two different bumper pads from Amazon: ASIN # B07G86DL1L and ASIN # B08XPGRJ1G. In both cases, the bumpers are 8 mm in diameter, rubbery or silicon-like and clear in color. The adhesive is a 3M product and, if attaching these to a clean, oil-free surface, you can expect the best adhesion possible short of some type of high tech, specialized epoxy that could actually bond to silicone. I intend to edit this review with an update if the adhesion fails in cold, sometimes sub-zero temperatures where I expect to use them next winter. The pics show both items attached to a small garage door opener where I wanted to distinguish between two different buttons merely by touch sensation so that I could use the opener in unlit situations without squinting to see which button was which. I would say these dome-shaped (hemisphere-like) buttons are 4-4.5 mm tall. As you can tell from the side view images, these taller buttons will be easily distinguishable from the shorter (2.5-3mm) buttons that I describe as 'flying saucer shaped.' If you're using buttons for drawer or door stops, use the thickness of the dime in the pictures as a guide as to how much padding you can or cannot expect. I was very satisfied with the packaging and backing material to which these come attached. I experienced no falling off from the backing or sticking to the backing so strongly that the buttons wouldn't come off as I read in other reviews describing products from other sellers. If the size and shape of these (8mm diameter, 4+mm height, dome shaped) will fulfill your needs, I would not hesitate to purchase them. I read where some buyers painted buttons such as these but I would be suspect as to how well paint would stay on them given their silicon-like feel. They do have some "give" when you press hard on them and I suspect that would lead to a paint coating coming off during regular use in certain applications.

Great quality.
Just what I was after to replace the 4 x black rubber bump stops from my Toyota RAV4 2020 centre console lid. They are perfect size and way cheaper than buying genuine Toyota replacements that don't last.
