I got this to use with my Saeco (Starbucks) espresso machine and am very satisfied. The quality is excellent -- better than I expected. It's solid, heavy and looks very nice. It's well worth the reasonable price. The 52/53 mm size is a perfect fit. Highly recommended.

It's inexpensive, looks nice, and seems to be well constructed. It's heavy as well - a good tamper. It fits with a little wiggle into my nominally 58mm portafilter, so there are usually a couple grounds that are left on the walls that I have to give a quick second tamp to, but if I wanted that kind of precision I would have paid more for a precision tamper - this is all I need right now.

This tamper completes my "coffee bar"! It is handsome, heavy, well constructed, fully functional for tamping espresso into my machine's filter basket. I easily make a perfect flat white, every time, with the accuracy this tamper provides. Bonus: It's elegant enough to show off on my countertop!!

This tamper was surprisingly heavier than I had assumed. The handle is beautifully crafted, and comfortable to use. Great value. I purchased for a Mr.coffee espresso machine, I think the 50mm would have been a little better fit. I have a 1/16" gap all the way around when I put it in the filter cup. Still gets the job done, and it's a very nice piece.

Tamp is good quality. Sturdy and heavy. Wood handle is nicely formed, but has some imperfections (burrs) in the wood and the lacquer is not entirely smooth. Altogether satisfied for the price I paid- would recommend.

I truly don't understand people and their reviews. It's a tamper. It's nominally 53mm. It's got a rounded wood handle that is comfortable in the hand - it is bottom-heavy (gosh, 🙄 it's supposed to be). What "balance" could you have on a tamper? Is it too big or too small for your hand? Does it give you splinters? Does it mysteriously turn green like a carnival diamond ring? These are relatively meaningful questions. It's a tamper, not a cardiac stent. It fits well in a Breville 54mm portafilter and OEM basket (if anyone asks). Honestly, I have no idea about "durability" but I assume, someone, somewhere could damage it. Look at the picture - it must tamp OK, it made a puck with 6month old pre-ground espresso coffee on the very first try. Buy one. If you don't like it, buy something else.

This tamp is hand filling and easy to use. Works well with my espresso machine.

This does the job. I like it. Tamping is great when you have the right tamping tool. This one is right for me.

Great tamper, quality is good & very solid and heavy !

I've worked as a barista and have used tamps such as the espro calibrated which is over $100, this tamp is a much better option in my opinion . This tamp is excellent, by using and looking at it you would not know it comes at this low price point. It weighs a full pound and the wooden handle is not too wide that it's too bulbous to hold. The handle is stained nicely and is flush with the bottom portion. Looks good, works great!

Perfect size for my manual Presso espresso machine. Not extremely snug but probably the closest thing to a tight fit. The quality of the item is impeccable.

Nice product, machined well and heavy. Unfortunately the coating on the handle is terrible and already chipping away out of the box. The coating that isn't chipped away is very slippery. I do not think it will hold up over time. Shame because the stainless bottom is great.

Good quality and arrived as expected. The tamper gives a good weight which really helps when I tamp the grinds.
