I want to rate this 5 stars because it cuts my dog's nails so easily. I have had all kinds of nail clippers, I didn't like any of them. I bought this pair a few weeks and absolutely love them, apparently my dog does also, he sit perfectly still while I trimmed his nails, which he has never done! They are sharp and make a good clean cut without cutting the dogs nails to make them bleed. He is a 9 lb Maltese and a year old. I have a 12 year old Maltapoo and knew I would have trouble cutting her nails, as the older she gets the grumpier she gets, sorta like all of us. She is quite a bit larger than the male. She weighs approximately 18 lbs. I sit her on my lap and she saw the clippers in my hand and got skiddish, she is smarter. Anyway, after one nail trim, she did not flinch at all, she sit perfectly still until I clipped all her nails. She has dark nails so it is hard to see how far to cut, I read on the package instructions to cut a small amount the first time and cut them again the next week, it has worked fine! Better than paying to get their nails cut all the time. They get regular grooming, but their nails grow faster than the hair. I give these clippers 5 stars and the manufacturer 100 stars. Tried these out on my 40 pound beagle a couple of nights ago. I had let his nails go way too long and tried these new clippers. Amazing job done on his nails. He sat still and let me work on him, which was a blessing. The clippers were a bit difficult to get over a couple of his nails but once on, it cut through them really well. On the last couple, it seemed like it was a bit harder to cut but it could have just been the nail itself. Hoping these last a long time and continue to cut well. Unsure if they can be sharpened but if they can hold out through a few trimmings, they will definitely be worth it. So far, I am impressed and so is the beagle!

Proud parent of a 10-years-young 70-pound Boxer Rhodesian Ridgeback mix and have had at least one dog in our pack throughout my whole life, so decades of experience trimming canine nails. Also frequently help neighbors with their dogs (all medium to large breeds). These Dudi branded clippers are a very good value for the price and true to listing. Have not experienced any issues with locking mechanism or rotating guard after many uses on numerous dogs. Very sharp and still proving as effective as when first removed from packaging, just keep an eye on that spring. Shouldn't be much of an issue for smaller breeds but it freely falls out when expanding handle open to accommodate larger nails. Fits right back into place, yet an ongoing annoyance that could've easily been remedied with a seating redesign. (Note to Manufacturer: to prevent from becoming dislodged during usage, leave an inner protrusion that snuggly secures inside the spring on both ends instead of drilling to fit the outer diameter alone) Only reason for the 4-Star rating is this occasional spring issue. Would buy again and recommend to others, especially for a mere five dollars. Our black lab rescue is about 12 years old and has slowed down a lot. His nails needed trimmed but he's hard to take to the vet because of bad hips and getting him loaded in the car, etc. All that stresses him and me out. I took a chance with your product because if they worked like advertised, it would save a lot of grief, time and money. Thank you, thank you, thank you! These clippers are awesome! I let the dog sniff them and went right to work as he was lying down. He barely moved! I did all toenails the first time, then did a second round about two days later (because they were very long). Same dog reaction: Hardly moved at all. Same owner reaction: I'm such a happy duck! Clippers are simple to use, very efficient in cutting and well-made. I can't say enough good things about this purchase!

Dog hates it, I love it. It’s pretty solid and can handle clipping my dogs talons really well. I really like the guard at the end that helps me measure how long to clip. It makes it really easy to clip without splintering the nail and the grip on it is nice.

I really like these nail clippers. I was previously a dog groomer and used these clippers at my job. I have issues with my hand and squeezing things and these were so easy on my muscles. I ended up buying them again only because I misplaced them and refused to use anything else. Most clippers are hard to squeeze or they get locked up while using them but these are perfect! I'm no longer grooming but still use them to clip my own animals nails and family's animals also. I will always be a returning customer as long as these are available!

The product comes as it looks in pictures. Works fine, cuts the nails as it should. The only issue I having with it is that when I clip the nail, sometimes the lock comes down and locks the clippers and i have to unlock it while I’m clipping the nails. Which is quite inconvenient when you’re trying to be quick with cutting. Not sure if it’s user error or product error. Aside from the locking issue, the clippers are fine. The nail file of it isn’t the best but it’ll do the job. It’s just a little hard to file the nail, like it’s not “sharp” and I have to keep filing to even get any results. Feel like a human file may work better. Not really sure though. Could be user error again but I feel like it’s not THAT hard to use clippers and file so…….? Edit 2024: bought these in 2021 and only used them maybe 10-15 since bought. Clippers no longer recoil and open when clipping nails, I have to manually open them. Still having issues with the lock tab thing. Overall, don’t like these clippers. Not good quality

Le forbici vanno bene io le ho acquistate per il mio cane e devo dire che sono facili da utilizzare e allo stesso tempo sicure , hanno una linguetta posizionata davanti le lame in modo tale che l unghia non possa sporgere più del dovuto , è davvero difficile sbagliare ! La consiglio

These clippers help me feels safe not to cut to far. The guard is a wonderful addition. They are super strong to cut through our big dogs nails and do not struggle to cut. I am really happy with them

Super Schere, liegt gut in der Hand und man bekommt die Krallen sehr leicht geschnitten! Die Schere hat auch einen Anschlag, der verhindert, dass zuviel abgeschnitten wird! Das einzige Problem ist, sobald mein Hund die Schere sieht, flüchtet er bereits. Wenn er gerade am träumen ist, schaffe ich es zumindest 1 Kralle zu schneiden, manchmal funktioniert es auch mit sehr viel Leckerlies, aber es ist schon sehr anstrengend.
