Sensitive Skin Facial Strip Wax (16 Strips), (Pack of 1)

I recently tried the Jolen Sensitive Skin Facial Strip Wax and honestly I'm impressed. I have pretty sensitive skin, so I was a bit worried about how my skin would react. To my surprise, the strips were super gentle and didn't cause any redness or irritation which is a huge win in my book. I used these strips mainly on my upper lip and a bit on my eyebrows. The instructions are pretty straightforward and easy to follow. You just warm the strips between your hands, place them on the areas you want to wax, and then peel them off. It took a couple of tries to get the hang of it but once I did, the results were great. My skin felt so smooth afterwards and the hair removal lasted a solid couple of weeks. What I love most is that the strips come in a convenient pack of 16, so there's enough to tackle a few waxing sessions. Plus, cleanup is easy since there's no messy wax left behind. I didn’t find any sticky residue which is often a pain with other products. Overall if you have sensitive skin and are looking for an easy, effective way to wax at home, I definitely recommend giving Jolen a shot. It’s become my go-to for at-home facial waxing.

Very sticky, two parts come apart evenly. Just one application removes all the hair from my lower brow, at last, a product that works efficiently. Good value for money too. Nice soft fabric so easy to grip & apply. Happy Bunny !

Doesnt work, was left with wax which didnt come off easily. Hurt my face and took ages to scrub off. Wouldnt recomend.

I've tried many different brands of wax strips. Having PCOS I have quite a lot of hair growth on my upper lip and especially my chin area and big brand wax strips are just too pricey at the moment so I've been trying out some budget ones to find a suitable alternative. These Jolen wax strips are a great price. You get 16 in a box packaged back to back to keep the wax fresh. They are slightly smaller than the other budget brand that I'm currently using but only marginally and I found that the smaller size was actually easier to use on my upper lip. Each strip measures 3.8cm x 8cm with the area of actual wax measuring 1.5cm x 5cm approximately. They're also slightly darker in colour. To use them I followed the instructions on the box, warmed the wax between my hands, and applied the strip to my chin in the direction of the hair growth. To remove it I pulled the skin taut, and pulled the wax strip back quickly in the opposite direction keeping it as close to the skin as possible. I have to say I'm very impressed with the results. I used 3 strips in total to clear my chin and used each strip a few times over until it wasn't sticky anymore. These strips removed more of the hairs than any other brand I have tried but although the packaging claims that they're effective even on short hairs there were some really stubbly hairs left. This doesn't surprise me though as I have very stubborn hairs anyway. Looking at some of the reviews I had been a bit concerned since I have sensitive skin and some people had said they had been left with huge red marks on their face after using these strips. Thankfully that wasn't the case although it did sting slightly more after use than when I used other strips. There was a little residue left on my skin but this was less than with previous strips, I just used a face wipe to remove it and then moisturised my skin afterwards which helped to soothe the area since these do not come with post wax wipes like some strips do. Overall I'm impressed with these, especially considering the price. If they had managed to remove even the short hair as the package claims they do and maybe included a post wax wipe to remove the residue and calm the skin it would've been the full five stars. I am however happy to purchase these again as they've done a much better job than other budget strips I've tried.

Great wax strips the perfect size easy to warm up and apply and do the job quickly

Thought I’d try these out as I was horrified at the price of the usual brand I use. Hoping it’s temporary @ due to rise in cost of living. These strips are a lot smaller & although there appears to be a substantial amount of wax on them you’ll find it’s a thin spread on each side of the strip as you pull them apart. They’re easy to use but no way near as good as my usual brand. It didn’t tackle all of the hairs so had to pluck those off. Also, the box doesn’t contain the little wipes, but that’s no biggie as baby oil does the same job without irritating my skin. Not sure I’ll buy again - probably have threading done instead while I wait for prices to come down on my usual brand.
