I works
I love this thing because of our long driveway the way our house is most of the time we don't hear when someone knocks. It was super easy to install. It does it's job and not many false alarms. My only complaint is having to change the batteries out every 2 weeks.

Good value
My experience with the motion sensor alarm has been overall positive, providing an additional layer of security and peace of mind. Here's why I find it effective:First and foremost, the ease of installation is commendable. Most motion sensor alarms are designed for straightforward setup, often requiring just a few steps. This simplicity makes it accessible for individuals without advanced technical skills, allowing for quick implementation in various settings. The sensitivity of the motion sensor is a key feature. The ability to detect motion within a specified range ensures comprehensive coverage, alerting you to any unexpected movement in the monitored area. This sensitivity can be adjusted in many models, allowing customization based on the specific needs of the user. The versatility of motion sensor alarms is noteworthy. They can be used in various settings, from home security to monitoring outdoor spaces or even as an alert for store owners. This adaptability adds to the value of the device, making it a versatile tool for enhancing security. The wireless nature of many motion sensor alarms contributes to flexibility in placement. Without the need for extensive wiring, these alarms can be strategically positioned in different areas, offering a wider range of coverage without the constraints of wired alternatives. The alarm's immediate response to motion is a crucial aspect of its effectiveness. The loud and attention-grabbing sound serves as a deterrent to potential intruders and notifies occupants of the monitored space, allowing for swift action if necessary.Battery life is another positive point. Many motion sensor alarms are designed to be energy-efficient, ensuring prolonged use without frequent battery replacements. This reliability is essential for maintaining continuous security coverage. While the effectiveness of a motion sensor alarm is clear, it's important to note that false alarms can occur. Factors such as pets, moving shadows, or even environmental changes may trigger the sensor. However, many modern models come with features to minimize false alarms, such as pet-immune settings or adjustable sensitivity levels. In conclusion, the motion sensor alarm is a valuable addition to any security system. Its ease of installation, sensitivity, versatility, wireless design, immediate response, and energy efficiency make it a practical and effective tool for enhancing security in various settings.

Works good so far, very few false alarms
Installed easily and it works. My driveway entry is about 490 ft from the house. It seems to be water resistant, but we haven't had any substantial rain since installation. One thing I didn't like but am coming to terms with is the rechargeable battery. The instructions say that it lasts about a year before needing to recharge and can be recharged through a USB connection. The receiver has a low battery indicator, which should be helpful. The receiver plugs in through a USB 120v adapter, included, and can also take AA batteries, in case of an electrical outage. I am using just one transmitter and one receiver, but apparently the receiver can support up to four transmitters. The alert noise is a three-note doorbell type noise and the volume can be controlled, but the doorbell tune cannot be changed. Overall, I'm pleased with the unit.

Didn't Last
Worked great until right after the 30-day return window. The insert from the manufacturer says there's a 2-year warranty and to go to their website and click on warranty. (There's no place to click on warranty. Their site says if the item is purcahsed from a retailer then to follow the retailer's return policy. For Amazon that's 30 days. I was about 2 weeks over the deadline.) Within a couple of weeks of installation, the base unit stopped responding so I plugged it in rather than have it run on batteries. Everything worked well for about a month after that. Then the sensor stopped working. I changed out batteries and wiped off the window but it didn't help. I tried a different set of batteries just in case I had a bad first batch. Still didn't help. When the last battery was inserted, the base would make the alarm sound once but then flash that the sensor needed batteries even though I had just replaced them. I sent an e-mail to the company. No response. Very disappointed money wasted.

Works great/Attractive
I have a long driveway with lots of tree coverage. This sensor works fantastic and the notification chime is a pleasant chime compared to my old driveway sensor that was a loud, shrill annoyance. Happy with my purchase.

EASY INSTALL AND ACCURATE AT DETECTION
So far so good. Easy as pie to install, set chime and channel to what I wanted, done......and works great. Not 1 single false alarm. Installed at the front gate as a secondary alarm to the driveway underground alarm that senses metal at the gate entrance. Very reliable this one is. Will be adding more sensors as desired.UPDATE: I’ve had this driveway alarm now for almost 1 year. I’m amazed that I’ve not had to replace the batteries yet. I live out in the country and rarely have visitors so that might be why the batteries are lasting. The main thing setting it off are deer that jump the front gate. Had 1 false alarm one night. Checked the sensor and removed a spider and the web on the front, just assuming the spider set it off

Great value, simple and reliable.
1 week in- Alarm was quite simple to set up and seems like great value so far. I set the sensor sensitivity to the 3rd setting instead of the 4th as it arrived. It's worked flawlessly so far and we haven't had the wind/branches or small animals trigger it yet.4 months in- product has worked perfectly all rainy and snowy winter. Just ordered a second sensor for the far end of the property. Top shelf value here.

Motion Detector
Although the decice works well, battery change could have been designed differently. The device has to be removed where it is mounted, and remove screws to get access to batteries.

Bit of a faff to set up but works well
I live up a farm track so have set this up at the gateway to let me know when someone arrives. The motion detector is about 25' from the receiver (which I've plugged in but could be run on batteries and is positioned on a windowsill facing the detector) and so far everything seems to be working well and I've had far fewer false alarms than a cheaper model I've previously tried. It was a bit if a faff to set up as the design is really silly. The distance/sensitivity setting switches are inside the main body of the detector and if you decide you want to alter then once you have mounted it on a wall, you have to unscrew 4 screws on the mounting plate plus 4 fiddly screws on the detector housing to get at them. In a tricky set up like mine on an angle, with a slope, with pets and farm animals to avoid and test with, it took multiple tries to get the settings and position right and unscrewing it each time was frustrating and it worried me that eventually the plastic screw holes would break. Another really stupid design feature is the fact that to charge the detector I'll have to take it down again to plug it in inside somewhere or drag out the extension cord to it. Again, a better design would have an easily removable rechargeable battery so the detector could be left in position. Can't comment on the battery life for now but hope it lasts a good long time for this reason.Saying all that, I did eventually get it up and now the frustration of installation is somewhat forgotten, it is working well so on balance it was worth the extra money. The cheaper model (that was about £15) constantly went off when branches moved in the wind, the sun heated up things in front of it or animals passed it but this one has better sensitivity and distance options so has only had one false alarm so far and accurately warns me when a vehicle or person arrives. The brown housing is unobtrusive and blends well on a fence post and the alarm although a bit tinny is loud enough to hear in the next room but is not too annoying.
