A Goblet Fit For An Emperor!
I've seen cups/goblets/receptacles like this upon my travels for quite a while, and though they've always enticed me, I hadn't yet decided to take the gamble. I must say, I'm glad that I did. Nemesis Now have long been a great company that sell some real artisan, well-crafted gems, and once again they've maintained such a fierce reputation. This thing is awesome. For a start, it looks the part, size-wise. At just over ten inches in height, it's seriously big - an imposing tower on the surrounding landscape of the dining table. The design itself, of a gauntleted hand wrapping around the cup, is really cool - and so, so well done. The dimensions and proportions are just right; it isn't unbalanced, or weird looking. The intricate details, from the lion head on the gauntlet to the individual plates of the finger mail, are magnificent, and incredibly well done. The whole thing is cast from resin, so while it feels very high-quality, it's also equally easy to hold. There are several ways you can hold it, too. The goblet remains surprisingly ergonomic for its shape. I had no problems with it falling over or wobbling, either. The steel insert inside the cup is easy to take out and wash - due to the material, it remains quite cold so most drinks you put inside turn thus. This means with already refrigerated drinks, the flavour can be masked somewhat, but I still enjoyed drinking several types of beverage from it. It's more of a decorative, ornamental thing; but equally you *can* drink from it, and it doesn't hold a bad amount of liquid in itself. The bottom, or base, of the goblet is coated a nice, fine sliver of foam, which means it won't mark any surface, and is almost 'pre-coastered' for your convenience. All in all, this thing is amazing. I didn't know what to expect, but I was just simply blown away when I took this thing out of the well-cushioned box. For any king, prince, pauper or fantasy nerd alike, I highly recommend. Would be perfect, too, for D&D, table-top games and even things like LARP. Bound to be a talking point.

Looks better in the picture
The quality is not as good as it looks in the pictures, the gold paint on mine is really faded and doesn’t stand out much. Also there’s a dent on the side of the goblet and a chip on one of the knuckles, so I’m not overly pleased with it tbh.
