You only need one
For some reason, I had been having pretty bad heartburn and indigestion. I had gotten these as a way to improve my digestion, but I had been reading online that you needed to take as many as you can tolerate ("warm feeling in the stomach") but I think trying to take a lot of these just caused the problem to remain or be worse, and taking as much as 7 in a meal was not a good idea. I didn't think they worked, but then after a while of suffering with more heartburn, I thought I would give it another go. For the past week, I have taken ONE, along with a NOW plant enzyme pill a few minutes before eating. I have hardly had to even burp since. Its been miraculous.My suggestion for taking them...take only one, a few minutes before a meal. I think the plant enzyme pill must work well with it also. Then, if you start to feel bloated even after having one, just take one more. I don't imagine you would need any more than that.My next test will be doing weight lifting. I have found that during weight lifting I get severe heartburn. I think its due to drinking a lot of water during the workout along with abdominal pressure due to the exercise. I am going to try taking one just before my workout and another one if I start to feel it during my workout. Hopefully it keeps things under control.I also think I have had a couple meals where I have forgotten it and now the symptoms of the heartburn seem to have lessened despite not taking the pill. I am starting to heal and feel normal again. Over the last number of years I have felt bloated a lot even if I wasn't in quite this much discomfort so its great that things are better again.
