Husband loves these
I bought these for my husband, he grew up vegetarian and ate these at home. I am gluten/dairy intolerant so I can't give my review, but he loves them. I bought them because they were supposed to be healthier than the original red can and they are the larger cans like the original used to be, but the nutritional values don't really seem much different.

Not the best: a tale of two dogs
While considering alternatives to my Field Roast Frankfruters, this brand popped up so I had to try them. They are a great option for a long term pantry/stored food option but given the choice, I'll stick with FR. Here's why:COMPARISON:Weight: FR - 6 links x 2.67oz LB - 8 links x 2.25ozCost: Both are approximately $1 per frank depending where you buy (that's $6 for a FR bundle or $8 for a LB can).Ingredients: Similar; they are both clean natural products. But where FR stands out as a clear winner is PROTEIN. A whopping 21g per frank vs LB's 11.Taste/Texture: FR are firm and hearty with a pleasant frankfurter-like flavor; there is texture when you bite into one. LB is from a can so they are soft - almost mushy - with a 'smokey' flavor which I found to be a questionable one, with a borderline unpleasant film and aftertaste.Cooking: I love that I can get a bit of crispy or textured skin on the FR; this is not possible with LB.SUMMARY:For a "HOT DOG" via pan frying, camp fires, or grilling, stick to Field Roast. For mixing up in a pot of Mac n Cheese or Baked Beans, personally I would still choose FR but LB is a viable option. If you need or want a emergency food / canned veggiedog, LB is the best choice regarding a 'clean' ingredient list.

Yum better than big Frank's in my opinion.
To me they taste better than the big Frank's I like that they dont make me feel bloated after eating them due to the lessening of the sodium. They have a smoky flavor and the other flavors are more mild than the big Frank's which to me I like more. They are more dense then the big Frank's and have way better ingredients.

Oh I was surprised at how tasty this is.
And now I was so so so glad that it came back as this is my 1000$ favorite lunch!Easy to make a vegan hot dog lunch! Something to very enjoy! And when it was out of stock I contacted the At Atlantic Natural Foods and asked if it was coming back. They said yes although it would take some time. Now it's very clear that many many people buy this. Will I buy it again, that is a huge yes although I have enough to last about 100 days. But HA, it's much safer (and nicer) to eat these, you can eat them every day.

Nice vegetarian alternative
We have used the original Big Franks before, but recently stopped due to the unnecessary additives. We were happy to see that Loma Linda has finally gotten around to making products without red dye # 40, etc. These taste almost the same as the original Big Franks, but we think they have a little softer texture.

NOT CELIAC DISEASE OR WHEAT ALLERGY SAFE!
Was really happy to find these canned franks for such a great price. However, THEY ARE NOT GLUTEN FREE. There is an error in the listing. Please carefully check the ingredients against Loma Linda's website before buying as they do contain wheat!! NOT SAFE FOR SOMEONE WITH A WHEAT ALLERGY OR CELIAC DISEASE!
