Rockville New 9” Beige Car DVD/USB/HDMI Headrest Monitors+Video Games (RDP931-BG)

DVD player seems to work and mirrors display to second monitor. However, screen is not mirroring to second monitor when using the hdmi input. In addition, the av input is not working. I’ve tried plugging in two different devices with two different rcas and neither one is working with the av input provided with the monitors. In addition, when something is plugged into the av input the monitors make a loud buzzing sound..... used an extension cord to try plugging my head unit into a flat screen using the exact same rca’s and the pioneer mirrored properly.... problem is definitely with the headrest av input wiring!!!They match well with my seats and the picture quality from the hdmi input and dvd are great, but I’m pretty sure the wiring provided with my unit is defective because the av input is not working with any devices (tried two different sets of rcas and devices).....UPDATE: I spoke to customer service and they sent me new wires. Like I said, the picture quality is great and they match the seats perfectly despite the fact that I have fabric seats... love the hdmi input and ability to mirror video from my head unit... great value for the money! I paired them with a rocker switch to be able to reset and/or power them off completely.... My daughter loves them... easy to install... I’m quickly becoming a fan of Rockford products!!!

Worked great and installed easy. Would have been 5 stars but when the headphones are plugged in the sound still comes out of the tvs...the headphone jacks work fine and sound comes from the headphones...just doesn't mute the speakers on the tvs when they are in use...

One of the screens didn't work, it seemed like the backlight was out. And the others sound didn't work. The working sound was great, and the working picture was great, but it was going to take forever to get a replacement set sent to me! I had to mail it back, wait for them to receive it, wait to have it tested (takes 5 days) then they'd send me a new set! I use amazon prime to avoid things like that! I just asked for a refund, but I still have to wait for them to test it before they'll send it back to me.

I was looking for something to replace the walmart, hang over the head restraint, screens. I didn't know these existed. They are awesome. They installed fairly easily. The hardest thing was figureing out where to hook up the 12V source. These went in my wife's '17 Explorer. The shade of beige was a little different then the OE leather, but the quality of the product makes up for that. When haven't used all the features, but being able to hook up our iPhones is really cool.

Seems to be of good quality. Finish color is slightly off from my trucks interior, but very close. I didnt even read the directions until after install, mainly to see what all the buttons did. Installed the headrest into the seats of my tahoe in about one hour. Took about another 2 hours to wire up, though i took longer than it should due to running a separate circuit from fuse box and installing an on/off switch. I would recommend doing it that way so it will not be powered up all the time. Have yet to see how well it does on the road but works fine just testing in my garage. I may update my rating as time goes on. Overall, i think this is a very good buy cost wise for what your getting.

Easy to install. Everything looks great and works great.

They look really nice but they don't always play. You have to open the cover and take out the DVD put it back and try again. Sometimes I do think 3-4 times before it reads. I'm using brand new dvds so it's not because they were scratched.

I love the screen size and adjustable viewing angle for different size riders. Picture quality looks nice with decent stereo speakers built in. This particular model is set up as a primary and slave screen setup, so the second screen mirrors the main one. it does have an extra rca cable hook up so hopefully it will plug into my dvd head unit up front to allow the secondary screen access to play a different movie on the AV2 mode. I ordered another set... the 961 model to get individual dvd players for the 3rd row seats. As far as installation goes, if you have some mechanical knowledge, you should be able to install them yourself after checking out a YouTube video showing the details.
