LE LEMATEC Moisture Trap & Water Separator for Paint Gun 1/4" NPT

Looks like a well made product and designed for routine maintenance as needed. I’m a low volume user of a compressor and it’s nail guns or tire inflation needs, so it could last for the rest of my life and that’s fine. It’s attached at the compressor fitting, Milton’s V series quick disconnects and all my fittings, hose, tools are V series high flow and love the ease of use to make connections and to disconnect them. The company responded to my query if I could install the filter at the compressor end as opposed to the tool end where it would be in my way, they did so and quickly, nice! The only thing was the registration and warranty card, wanting to register for the 12 month iron clad warranty with QR Scanner code, it didn’t work. It said: “ Hey, thanks for scanning, the QR Code Campaign has been disabled for some reason” Your QR Code Reader/scanner is working fine. I will write to the company and let them know about this issue.

Very good item. I used as the last step of water entrapment in my air compressor system. It worked great.

This is a very nice, well, constructed dryer / filter. I'm giving it four stars because it's a little heavy. I use this on a hvlp paint gun. It's a very nice unit, but the added weight for my purposes was not ideal.

Perfect for the onboard air compressor for my truck. I put it in line between my compressor and tanks to keep them dry. I can easily reach the purge button. My seems like it is removing all of the water I was seeing before.

I bought this to keep moisture from getting in my nailer and it does an excellent job. Previously I relied on simply draining moisture from the tank in my air compressor, but even after doing so, I noticed a little water coming out when I drove nails. I live on the Gulf coast, and there is a lot of humidity, so the compressor really builds up moisture fast. This was easy to install and has done a great job so far. It will pay for itself by not rusting out my air tools when I use them.

If you don't have a filter for your air compressor, you need one. I finally took the time to check the psi output and purchased this one and it was a quick and easy install. Does the job and everything I use with my compressor should be better because of it. Only downside is you can't see if it has any moisture since it isn't glass. But also should be less likely to damage. I just push the button each time to clear it out when I'm done anyways.

If you check the air flow direction and fitting you will see the fittings are backward. The end of an air hose has a male fitting but air inlet side of this is also male. Sme with exit size. With some creative plumbing I got this to work and so far so good.

Nice product. Housing is made from metal, not plastic. Appears to be excellent quality. Plunger is spring loaded.

El filtro es muy sólido y resistente al estar conformado de metal. Tiene muy buenos acabados y es más compacto qué los filtros comunes. El botón de purga es muy cómodo y de fácil acceso. Totalmente recomendado.
