Great book, a bit too advanced for beginner to intermediate players. Still struggling with some of the faster songs and will for quite some time. I've been playing a little over a year. But still, love to have something to work on. Love the back tracks!

The transcriptions are great (ie accurate) but of course, it's SANBORN so you really have to have a great technique etc. to fully pull off these numbers. Still, it's great to have something to work towards - in a few years maybe! Many (I for one) still struggle with the altissimo register for example, whilst he makes it sound so effortless.

Gift for my husband. He loves it.
