If you already have a 2G account- we purchased it with the same idea and we had to upgrade to 3G (the watch works great with 3G as well) because we didn’t have a 2G account and we’re told that they are no starting anymore new 2G account is the US and are trying to get away from them, hope that answers your question

Can i still use my mobile carrier for my phone and this sim card for my smartwatch?

Each SIM card has a set of numbers that will represent the device that you put it in giving each SIM card its own number only unless you can have an e SIM card and have both the phone and the watch on the same carrier and have the watch paired to your phone will you be able to use the same number I'm not sure if that is exactly what the answer you're looking for but maybe it will lead you down the path of more information so that you can make a more affirmative decision

If you want to use SpeedTalk Mobile Service, you must use our SIM card in a compatible GSM device.
So depending on your Sprint Phone's make and model, if the phone is GSM compatible and is unlocked by Sprint, then you can use our SpeedTalk SIM card in your phone.
If your GSM compatible phone is fully paid, you can contact your carrier to have it unlocked so you can use it with different carriers.
