Works on Both Types of Refrigerant Cans in a Pinch
Item as described with the short hose and connections that are all permanent, crimped/compression fittings. The tap is a piercing tip that can work on both, self-sealing and pierce topped, types of 12 ounce refrigerant cans. Worked well on a recent application with a self-sealing can operation. If you need a longer low pressure side attachment hose, to dispense the coolant, this may * not * work very well for your coolant recharge needs

Needs a longer hose!
Due to the terrible location of the low pressure port on my Lexus ES300, the combination of a right angle coupling and a too short hose makes it very difficult to attach and properly control the can. Thi is a very sturdy and well made product, however, and those issues are my only complaints.Just check where your low pressure port is located before purchasing this item.

Leaking hose
I'm not happy with this. The piece that screws into the can became loose and started spewing coolant everywhere. I was trying to fix my mother's air conditioning. I had to waste the whole can of coolant. So now I'm out $30 and my mom is still dealing with no air conditioning.

Not that great but worked
It works but I had to fiddle with the valve. It got me out of a jam but I think I wouldve rather spent a few more dollars for a better quality one
