Hammered Dulcimer Chords

Content's is very good. All the chord variations are depicted nicely.

The Dulicmer Chords book arrived in Excellent shape. Songs are displayed in easy too read text & notes. I'm happy with my purchase.

The Hammered Dulcimer is not your typical instrument. For the people who do know this instrument, they assume that it will be playing the melody line. For those of you who need to change things up a bit, this is the book for you. It explains, in detail, how to play the various cords that a Hammered Dulcimer can do. this book has opened up a whole new world for me.

I was expecting more of an instructional manual.... and yet the book contained a diagram of every possible chord for the Hammer Dulcimer. It ended up being a good purchase.

This is strictly a book containing chords and where they are located on your dulcimer. There are no tips or instruction on how to play backup. I guess that I misunderstood as I was looking for information on how to play backup.

Jeanne Page does a great job of presenting all the available arrangements for HD chords. A great book for a beginner.

Grayed in areas which are used to show the the shapes of the Box, Diamond, Flag and other chords are totally washed out. This appears to be most prevalent on the even numbered pages.Not worth the trouble for me to return it, just be aware.Other wise it is a good reference manual on chord shapes for the 15/14 Hammered Dulcimer advanced beginner.
