Fresh Cat Oatmeal Shampoo, 16 oz

I have a maine coon whose long hair requires weekly baths. She is receptive to her cleaning rituals, but she was positively beaming after being bathed with Fresh Cat Oatmeal Shampoo. The rich, pearly lather does an excellent job restoring shine with its deep cleaning action without irritation. My kitty was content being lathered up with this mildy scented shampoo that smells a little like almond cookies. After she dried, her fur was a soft sheen that had her purring happily the entire day and the fresh smelling scent lasts for days. I love the fact that Fresh Cat Shampoo is a naturally derived product free of chemicals. It smells natural and gave me peace of mind using it. I am happy with my purchase and will buy it again when I run out. With that said, a little goes a long way and should last for quite a while.Highly recommended!~ Kort

Pro: Shampoo-ed my cat yesterday, the shampoo seems to do what it is supposed to, she is clean. It lathered nicely and was easy to rinse off which is good since she has a LOT of fur.Con: It leaves a strong scent on the cat and in my case that makes me sneeze...a lot. Like every time I get within 5 feet of the kitty my nose starts to twitch and then I start sneezing. It was so bad last night and this morning I thought I might be getting a cold so I went to the Neighborhood store and got night-time cold medication and starting taking Zicam to try to head it off. Well this morning the symptoms seem to be more those of a bad allery attack, not a cold. Bummer, now I have almost a whole bottle of shampoo that I have to give away. And perhaps the worse part is that cats generally don't like strong scents but she can't get away from it.So, 4 stars for performance but minus one star for the strong scent.Update 12-29-14Cat still smells like shampoo...yuk...reminds me of a popular men's cologne from the 1960s. At least I only sneezed for the first 3 days and she is still very shiny.

It smells good, feels good, but I can't get any of on the cat. I tried all kinds of ways to get this cat bathed. No go.I bought a mesh bag to put the cat in to keep him from escaping. Hahahahahaha!!! That was a joke. The cat busted right our of this bag with no trouble whatsoever. So, I'd love to say the shampoo worked for the issue we're having with the cat, but I can't.If I ever get to bathe the cat, I'll let you know.

I chose this because the ingredient list seemed the most gentle of all the shampoos I looked at. I bathed two of my cats with this shampoo and it removed lots of dander buildup and odor. Not good for stud tail however. One of my cats ended up with a mat (short hair...he has never had a mat in his life) after his hair dried, so I took off one star for that.

I liked the way it stopped my cat's dandruff and made her fur soft again with one application, but she smelled like almonds and coconut for a week after her bath. I wonder what she thought of that since cats are so sensitive to odors. Perhaps I didn't rinse long enough.

It seems to have helped clear the sores my cat made when he had fleas but the smell was really strong. Although it was strong, it was pleasant enough to use again I just use a little less.

Smells great from the bottle but when on the cat after wash the smell isn't as nice. Not sure if its the type of cat but my girlfriend isn't fond of the after smell its gives once cat is washed in it.

This product is great! It smells amazing in and out the bottle. My Luna feels smooth and looks shiny and the scent stays on her for days. She’s had no reactions to the smell or the shampoo.

Really good for my cat and smells good. Although he doesn't like me giving him a wash this shampoo does a great job.

Think me and my sphynx kittens are allergic to this
