MAGID Gemstone Y50 Performance Anti-Fog Safety Glasses with Side Shields

I work as a dental assistant and it is very important to protect my eyes. These glasses are amazing, they have side shields to protect any water, saliva, blood, etc; from touching and reaching my eyes. These do fog sometimes depending on how you’re wearing your mask, but they go back to normal fairly quick. They are lightweight and don’t hurt my ears or nose or anything. I get more discomfort from wearing a medical mask than wearing these awesome glasses. The glasses are normal sized and look very normal on me, not oversized, it is just the perfect size and weight. They fit so well and are the perfect amount of tightness. They don’t slip off or move around as I work. I love these and are definitely worth my money

I'm an industrial mechanic, and my job offers those "cool" sporty looking safety glasses that wrap around from side to side in one solid peice with no frame. Due to my job i always have to stick my head some where uncomfortable, and as i huff and puff and work up a sweat, those sporty glasses always fog up on me at the wrong time. I dont like putting chemicals anywhere near my face so anti fogging solutions arent an option for me. I decided to look for something more breathable and came across these, i liked the design and decided to give them a try. Dont regret it at all, it offers the right amount of safety with enough clearance to breath, they have yet to fog up on me no matter where i stick my head or how hard i huff and puff. the clarity is great and the lens is pretty resistant, accidently dropped them a few times and they werent worse for wear. I didnt think the blue light filter would make a difference but it might, while wearing them i dont notice the filter but my eyes arent as tired at the end of the day, possibly the filter or possibly because im not straining to see through the foggyness every so often. the retro design is a nice touch in my opinion, but its functionality is what makes these the only pair i want to wear.

Had these for about a year. It's been a game changer for the light sensitivity from my migraines! Love the wrap around protection so that light doesn't seep in. Lightweight, well-made/ sturdy, great price point. Functional. Easy to wipe clean. Easy to adjust the length of sides. Fits over my larger framed prescription glasses. DARK TINT: Clear vision, no glare from screens or daytime driving. They're fantastic! I wear them everywhere when I leave the house: driving, walks, hiking, grocery store, doctor's office--- literally anywhere there are bright natural or artificial lights. It may seem weird to some people to wear tinted safety goggles indoors. I've had some people ask concernedly if I just had eye surgery. But I've also had people compliment how great they look on me in an artsy, futuristic way. Wish I got them sooner. 5/5 stars. RED TINT: I love them too, but there is room for improvement. Initially I wore these during migraine attacks and a few hours before bedtime to help with melatonin production for better quality sleep. I can't see tech screens as well as if I wore the dark tint, and I get too much glare from vehicle headlights and streetlamps to wear these for nighttime driving (although I can see traffic lights just fine). I wish the manufacturer would make a polarized version of the red one. I would buy another in a heartbeat. Because of the glare from screens and sometimes from lights, I have cut back on how much I wear the red pair. I haven't worn them in weeks and reserve them for when I have horrible light sensitivity episodes. Dear manufacturer: PLEASE MAKE A POLORIZED RED TINT. 4/5 stars. Still functional but could be better.

These safety glasses are so comfortable, actually decent looking, and the blue light filtered ones make my eyes feel great. I genuinely dislike having to take them off at the end of my work shift. They fit perfectly and sit snug over a kn95 too. The side shields are also a big plus. Best quality I’ve ever had in safety glasses. I’m on my 5th pair (1 non tinted, 2 blue light filtered, 2 tinted).

I used these while working in the Emergency Department, on construction sites, power tool use, and in Fire/EMS working on the Engine & Ambulance. They work great, look good, and provide protection from all sides WITHOUT FOGGING. They’re also structured very well making them very durable. The blue light blockers are a nice addition for night shifts or extended screen-time.

I ordered these safety glasses because I work at a computer many hours a day in an industrial environment that requires safety glasses. I was noticing pretty bad eye strain toward the end of the day that ended up in a headache. I also noticed my sleep rhythm was affected and my sleep was worsening. After wearing these everyday at work for two months they have become an essential part of my personal protective equipment. I get asked about them all the time and I tell everyone just how remarkable the difference has been for my health since buying these. I definitely recommend these to anyone who works on a computer in an industrial environment.

Update: after 2 weeks of having the glasses the lenses are scratched or peeling. I’m a nurse I clean them often bc I’m a nurse so I’m not sure if it was the alcohol wipes that messed them up or what but now I’ll be needing another pair bc it’s no longer see clearly through them. Love these! They don’t fog up like most goggles, they are light weight and comfortable. Sometimes I forget I even have them on.
