no smell, can't speak to how well it removes lead. Didn't destroy my clothes. I washed with this stuff first and then with normal laundry detergent, I let the range clothes pile up and then wash them all together to get any lead dust out. it only takes 1 oz for 10lb of laundry so this bottle will last me a couple years.

I use this detergent for my husband's clothes and respirator and it works great. It has a light scent and it's pretty watery but it definitely gets the job done.

Happy I can clean out the lead...
Glad to find a product to clean clothing after spending time at the range. Bubble gum smell is not noticeable. My biggest challenge is measuring how much to use. This product and its package are designed for an industrial setting where larger quatities of detergent are needed. (Instructions call for 1 oz per 10 lbs of clothing.) I found a pump to fit the jug that dispenses 1 oz per pump to get an approximation.

I purchased the D-Lead detergent after I discovered Chinese e-commerce sites like Shein tested positive for lead. I became so OCD about what my clothes and contaminated since I wore them (I was excited to try my first order on that I put it on after opening without washing). When my order was delivered, I received 12 air filters instead of the detergent. I reached out to the seller for a replacement. Mistakes happen and it's easy to damage during transit. I quickly got a free replacement and my order came in just as described! The team at XRP was so helpful with resolving the issue. Thank you so much! I'm not sure if there is any lead on my clothes and what it came into contact with (I'm hoping not) but having this detergent resolved my anxiety some. I have sensitive skin so I'm using very little and then I'm rewashing my clothes in gentle detergent.

Gets the Lead Out!
This was recommended to me by a restoration professional who was remediating and restoring our home after suffering heavy smoke damage from the Eaton Fire on 1/7/2025. Our home tested positive for high levels of lead, arsenic and nickel. We had to throw away most of our possessions but what could be cleaned we wanted to save. This is what will do the job for you if you are dealing with lead contamination.
