Ford Front Tailgate Emblem, Oval 9"X3.5", Red Decal Badge Nameplate for 04-14 F150 F250 F350, 11-14 Edge, 11-16 Explorer, 06-11 Ranger

I have an '04 F-150 FX4 Supercab and these were a perfectly fitting and affordable replacement. They are decent quality for the price, but definitely not as thick and sturdy as OEM emblems.Pros:-Install was a breeze and the alignment tabs make it even easier. As long as you do proper prep before hand, it literally is just peel, align, and stick.-Emblem itself is glossy and the red does pop. Others stated the color faded to a pink after time, so I simply put on a few coats of clear coat before install in hopes to mitigate any fading.-Cost is the biggest pro of these emblems, for $13 you get an OEM sized replacement WITH alignment tabs that are actually placed right.CONS:-Possible color fading, at this price, it's not surprising but also not a big deal. A clear coat hopefully will help mitigate.-Design, the OEM Ford emblems have a thin colored outer ring that matches the text as well, which this doesn't have. This is just a personal nitpick, it didn't play into my rating or the overall quality at all.-Adhesive so far has worked very well to the truck itself, the problem (as other reviewers have stated) is that the emblem itself is separating from the adhesive. I will try to add some emblem adhesive gel to help that and possibly seal the outer edges to the truck as well. I would be very surprised if the emblems stayed on after even one car wash at this point.Again, at this price point, compared to Ford's OEM prices for emblems and badges, I don't mind a little work on my end. I will give an update after several months and hope that the clearcoat keeps them from fading and the seal keeps them on my truck.

It was easy to install. I was extremely pleased with the 9" one to begin with, however I am going to have to replace it already because it very quickly faded from red to a funky pink. The smaller one did not fit properly due to the back up camera so I am going to have to find a different one or purchase one from Ford. Because of these issues I don't feel it is a good value.

I got one of these for my front grill and it looks great. I got another one for my tailgate, but it does not match the back emblem with a camera, even though it was advertised to match (word of advise). So I mounted it with the adhesive and filled in gaps with black outdoor silicone sealant to give it a professional look. Now it really looks good.

The foam stuck to my truck just fine, however it was on preinstalled on the emblem, I was putting my sticker on my license plate and found the emblem was missing, I hope it didn’t hurt anyone when it fell off

With help from a friend who does fabrication work, he cut out an aluminum plate to fit this newer Ford emblem that would butt up to where the original “smaller” emblem would go on my old “91” Ford truck. I did not like the small original blue emblem and wanted the much larger newer in red emblem. It looks great!

These look lovely on the front and back of my husband's red F150.
