THIS is the ONE!
We have had this for over a year now & its still amazing!! Usually we have so many fires in our firepit that we wear one out every year!!! I can see the super heavy duty quality of this will make it last a decade or more. When we 1st opened the box on arrival day, we saw a powdery substance all over the surfaces. We wiped some away, thinking it had missed the final finishing stage. After speaking to the seller, we learned the powdery substance is supposed to be there for the 1st time we fire up the pit & season it. We wished we hadn't wiped some of it away. We fired it up & it really didn't matter anyway. The surface has developed a nice rust color. The pit is SO thick on sides and even more so on the bottom that this will take decades to ever rust out. We are extremely happy with it!!!!! WELL worth the money!!!! I won't be throwing over $100 a year away anymore buying an annual fire pit. This is the ONE! We use ours probably 10X's more than the average family would & we love it!

Large, well constructed fire pit
Heavy duty metal construction, easily 2 - 3 times heavier that prior fireplaces that I have picked up at the big box stores. Looks so nice at night with the fire going. Time will tell how long it lasts however, as in the past with the cheaper / lighter fire pits I've had to replace them every 1-2 years. If I can get a minimum of 5 years out of this one I'll be quite pleased.
