Best cough syrup ever
I have been using this for over 40 years and it is the finest cough syrup ever! It is also an expectorant, so it brings up phlegm from your lungs, so you can get rid of it while you are healing. Very soothing and safe for any age to use. The best way to use this is to pour onto a teaspoon and slowly lick it off little by little so it really coats your throat. Make sure you do not eat or drink anything for at least half an hour afterwards.

This feels SO good on your throat. The taste and texture can be alarming at first, but you get used to it when your throat feels much better after using. I tried this for the first time when my friend bought it during our musical "Waitress" and we all stayed healthy and sounded great during the run! Had to buy for myself, and it's a miracle worker.

Our favorite cough syrup
This is our go-to soothing cough syrup when we have sore throats or coughs from colds. It's soothing, thick so it coats well, and tastes wonderful! It can be thinned out with some hot water or put in tea if you like, but we take it straight with a spoon, savoring it a bit so that it coats the throat. Decent price and I don't have to go to Chinatown to find it, it's shipped right to my door. One star taken off for the clumsy design of the huge neck and plastic stopper that gets so sticky and messy. There's got to be an easier design or way to dispense it.

Just as I remembered from childhood
My parents use to give me this if I had a sore throat, cold, etc. It tastes just like how I remember. I bought 2 of them. When im not feeling well, sometimes I take a spoonful of it, and sowmtimes I mix a spoonful into hot water and drink it. It has a sort of minty but sweet flavor.
