Fast, even germination. Diverse seed mixture for green manure. Inoculated with Rhizobium.
Planted in raised beds during July Texas heat. Very quick to germinate. 48 hours for the different clovers and grass seeds. Cowpeas will take a few days. Spread the seed by hand. Sprinkle loose soil over the entire surface. Don't cover seed to deep, about 1/4 inch is good. Then add some straw mulch if you have it. Suggest you water beds twice per day if planting in summer. This is a good seed mixture for "green manure" cover cropping. This will go 6 weeks for me, then turn it under for planting fall greens. Highly recommend

Will be back next year!
These seeds are amazing. Various sizes did a nice job covering easily. I tossed them in spots in my yard that needed cover this spring, but I didn’t have the energy to mulch. These are better! Germinated within days and look so healthy and green. I simply watered them lightly every day for 3-4 days and then they were good! Bonus - no tilling and no covering necessary. Seems like an easy, economical way to add living green mulch to any area of your garden. Will definitely be buying them again next year!

A bit pricey but also a large variety in this mix
I’ve gotten this mix of seeds twice now, both times the 1/2lb. The first time was just to try it and the second time I think the bigger option was out of stock or something, but it’s a bit pricey. With the 1/2lb and 1lb you’re paying for convenience with the smaller amounts. I think if I get this again I’ll be buying the 5lb. If you have the space and a cool dry place to store the 5lb over a few years of use then that’s definitely the best deal. That’s still a little bit expensive at over 10 bucks a lb but you get a nice variety of cover crops in this mix here which is definitely a good thing, the more diversity the better you’ll be likely to find something that grows and works well for your soil/growing conditions. Plus they have dusted the mycorrhiza powder onto the seeds which helps the legumes (most of these seeds in this mix). I have sown these for spring and fall, which are the rainy seasons in my area. They are not the most drought tolerant so you’ll want to provide some supplemental watering. I was able to save an okay amount of seed, but I wouldn’t count on this blend to reseed itself because it doesn’t make that much and the seeds that fell into the ground were mostly eaten by birds and squirrels over winter… If you want to let these flower the pollinators do like them, although you might want to plant some more mustard seeds separately because pollinators love those. I say separately because they grow really big and can crowd out the other plants.

Sprouted quickly
I tossed the seed out a week ago and the clover is already sprouted and growing. I haven't seen anything else sprouted yet but will give it a bit, the clover alone will get the job done. I did get some rye grass seed and threw it down just to cover more area, 1 pound did not cover my 25x30ft garden very well.

great fall crop to add nitrogen and compost to your garden over fall and winter
Have bought 2 lbs so far, getting ready to buy another. Planted in September in a newly made raised bed, no till, used for legumes, grew until after Dec, when we got a few freezes, pulled it all up, and laid it down on the dirt, added a lot more dead vegetation, then covered with more garden soil, cow manure, worm castings, biochar, spread out on top of the compost, then another layer of freshly mowed clover, the tall crimson clover in this on top. Have garlic growing all around the edges, and will be planting pinto and kidney beans in about a week, beginning in April. Have also planted this around trees, in big cloth pots and in the ground, the clover will grow through the winter here, and it loves a few low spots in my yard where water stands for a couple of days after rain. Clover grows back fast after mowing. I'm waiting to see how it does in through our hot summers in zone 8b. Have also thrown a lot of this seed on the shady side of my house, want to see how long it lasts in the summer. I like having the big tall crimson clover growing in big pots or among the roots of my trees all through the winter, putting nitrogen in the soil for them. I'm also currently replacing my lawn with clover and meadow type plants, passively, by throwing seed out all over, and this is great for that too.

Good product, but poorly distributed.
This cover crop mix worked well for me and I recommend it, but there are issues. First off, contamination. There is one plant that definitely came in the mix, but does not match any of the listed plants. I've never seen it grow around here and it is in every spot I put this. That leads to my other issue. Many of the listed plants have different varietals. Well, which ones do they use? They should know and be more precise when listing them on the package and online. Leading to the another issue. The website leads here. The instagram account has videos and pictures that form a nifty mosaic of a trademark, but little information. I would recommend they post pictures of the different plants and their seeds so that this product is easier to utilize. Ultimately this product worked well, but could be improved with better, more precise information. I think in the future I will buy the seeds individually so I can avoid the vague information problems and eliminate the bulkier seeds and more invasive species with a better price per pound. I would recommend this product if you aren't worried about any of these issues. Everything germinated quickly in rocky, clay soil in Tennessee in early summer. Just needs a little more effort on the company's part.

Didn’t grow
I spread the seeds as described. There weren’t any plants, however it may have been due to the dry season and I was unable to water it.
