This review is based on the look and feel of the product. Luckily, I’ve never had to use it. It looks & feels well made. The blanket is a good size. I’m glad I have it. I hope I never have to use it. Good luck!

I bought this for use in case of fire. Fortunately, I haven't had to use it yet. I like the idea that it is very portable, and provides for the ability to access it quickly when needed instead of getting the fire extinguisher. Based on the instructions provided on the package, it appears to be very easy to use. I also like that this can be reused. The packaging is good quality. For peace of mind and preparedness, every household should have at least 2 of these.

The set arrived quickly and in good shape. Each heavy blanket comes in a durable containment pouch that can be mounted to the wall for quick access and deployment or slide discreetly into a kitchen cabinet. They appear to be of high quality but I have not needed to deploy one and hope I never do. It's nice to have this added level of protection.

Bought these to keep in the house. Hopefully they perform the way they’re supposed to! I pray I’ll never have to use them. Good to have on hand though.

I hope I don’t have to use them to find out if they’re really good. But it seems like they should be they’re heavy and they’re large so they would stop us range fire if one of the burners got something on fire. I keep one by my sink and I keep one in the garage.

So listen to this: I did not plan on writing a review for this product. I bought it a few months ago because I live in a fourth floor walk up in NYC with no fire escape and though I've lived here for ten years was having a momentary panic attack about being trapped in a fire. I bought these for myself and then sent them to everyone in my family. Cut to tonight and I'm cooking a burger on the electric grill on my deck. I'm using one of those rubber grill safe mats to make it cleaner - I think that's the culprit. A grease fire ensues! I'm by myself - but I do not panic. I close the lid, I pull out the plug, and I run to the closet where I have my fire blanket hanging from the hook they provided. I snatch it open run back out to the deck, open the lid of the grill and the fire is still blazing. I toss the blank over it and boom - snuffed out immediately. Fire gone - didn't even ruin dinner. Thank god I was prepared. I just ordered 3 more.

I bought this blanket in May 2020 and hung it in my kitchen pantry. On Christmas night 2023, I made my first-ever prime rib. I was broiling it to finish it, and it caught fire. Turning off the oven did not eliminate the fire. At first, I didn't know what to do, and then I remembered my fire blanket! I grabbed it off the hook in the pantry, opened it up and smothered the fire. The blanket worked great! I would rather replace the blanket than try to wash it and jeopardize its future effectiveness, so I came back to buy it again and thought I would report in the reviews that it worked great! I did not feel any effects of touching the blanket - I did not feel heat or discomfort from any fiberglass fibers that is reported in some reviews. Great buy!

I feel safer having these around.

Purchased the item as a safety precaution, hoping never to use them. Came as stated on add. Didn't realize there were two to a pack, now have them spaced over the house, kitchen, bedroom, furnace room.
