Very good price
When it arrived I was shocked at how small the package was but upon opening I was pleased with the playing pieces(wooden)although the playing surface was a sheet of folded paper it is a good template to make a card board or wooden board so I would recommend this as a good price stater for anyone interested in learning Shogi

Great games pieces
My son wanted this for his birthday and he is really pleased with it. The pieces are really good quality and the instructions are really clear. It is a great game to play.

Playing board made of paper
This product arrived with a paper playing board, which I don't think is acceptable for the money - I am returning it

10/10 would definitely buy again
Amazing game and great starter set! The paper board it great for travel but not very durable. The pieces are excellent. I bought this for my boyfriend as a birthday present. He has an app he’s played it on and I had never played. After playing several times we’ve invested in a more expensive board. This is also great for children and teaching how to play. You can always use a piece of glass and set it over top of the paper board. Overall extremely happy with my purchase and was an amazing gift to give my boyfriend. Personally I find shogi is more fun to play than chess!
