This is a great product. The sturdy bar at the base of the rings, for me, almost justifies on its own paying the "premium" price. With the "cheap" ones, when you close them, the sheets get stuck underneath the rings and tend to rip apart. Not with these. And they are Also easier to manage, generally speaking, given the sturdiness. The materials are all of very good quality, which is important if you handle them a lot. Also, the bottom edges and corners have a metal piece for added protection. The color is exactly as expected, from seeing the pictures. They look "professional" too.I've bought binders from cheap stores which are not in the same ball park of these, so... not even going to compare. But those I got from Stapples, which have been ok, still don't perform anywhere close to these. I definitely recommend them! (Sandra Adams - the wife)

Could be better.
They look nice. But where are the inside pockets? Even the most mediocre binder has pockets on the inside. Not everyone can carry a three-hole puncher to stuff papers in a binder. So it's gonna look sloppy. And we all know it's inevitable. And I want these binders to be reusable. Where is the plastic cover, so I can label the binder and distinguish one from the other. Front cover - no plastic. On the side - you technically can put something in, but it ruins the "prettiness."Think I'll stick to Costco brand.

Bottom ring catches.
Stand nicely on the shelf. Easy to pull one out. I found the bottom ring caught the pages when I was turning them. I only used the lever to open and close the rings, as warned in the instructions, but when the bottom ring closes, it doesn't close tightly. Disappointed.

I recently culled 30 years of tear sheets form magazines. I had over 40 notebooks. I kept the best and upgraded them to these new beautiful and sturdy notebooks. I'm very pleased. I love that they are strong and have a metal banding on the bottom edges to keep them from wear and tear. Colour is a plus.

Not cheap but excellent quality and worth every dollar.
I am a writer and take lots of notes and backgrounds etc. on subjects. I categorize them by topic and other categories and I file the product I’m studying as well as add loose leaf papers to write on. These are perfect!

Excellent Binder
This are exceptional binders. Strong, durable and make a good impression. Just make sure to use the lever to open them. They are not inexpensive, but offer good value if the situation calls for an excellent binder.

Worth it - the quality shows
These are expensive, yes, but the quality shows in both the covers and the hardware. In getting rid of a lot of unnecessary household files and storage bins I am standardizing to these on bookshelves filled with binder sleeves of photos and papers to keep. They hold a lot and look better on a bookshelf than the cheaper vinyl-covered binders.
