I have bought this pan 3 times. My first purchase lasted over a year using it almost every single day. I made a mistake on my first pan once by mindlessly scratching the non-stick surface with a metal utensil, ugh. I have been keto for a few years and transitioned to OMAD (one meal a day) for health reasons. I cook a lot of meat, eggs, and veggies in these in large portions. When I purchased again, I bought two of these at once along with sturdy silicone utensils to avoid any further gouging and these have lasted perfectly for almost a year by rotating pans each day and hand washing. These are well made, the non-stick is great, they cook evenly, and they clean up very nice. They withstand a heavy workload and if treated with care, I expect years of use out of them.

This is the 2nd pan I have purchased, the first one was damaged when someone left it on high for quite a while. These 2 pans have served me for over 15 years. If you take care of them I would expect them to last in excess of 10 years. I use it 1 to 5 times per week. Stir-Frying, pot roast in oven, eggs, bacon, browning, almost anything. Doesn't warp, heats evenly, non- stick, easy to clean, not easily scratched or nicked. I am 71 and this is the best pan for the buck you will find around $50. Enjoy my friends...

T-Fal has been my main cookware brand starting with the first set I ever owned that my Sister bought me for as a gift because she loved to cook and she wanted me to enjoy it as much as she did. Over the years I’ve purchased a total of THREE of these T-Fal 5 quart deep saute skillets, not because I had anything go wrong with the first one I was using but because I thought it was such a useful piece of cookware that I ordered two more just to have on hand. I use this pan for every meal and have been using the same one that I bought in 2012 (I believe it was) the other two I purchased in 2019 mainly because I couldn’t pass up such an amazing price at less than $13 each, that was even cheaper than the first one. So I got an incredible bargain, I can only kick myself for not buying more at the time. I cook on an electric stove and it heats up evenly, it’s easy enough to clean afterwards and I just have one scratch in it because my Son used a metal table spoon to stir some food when I asked him to keep an eye on it while I left the kitchen. So I’ve gotten 13 years from this skillet, I’d say that’s pretty darn durable for a Teflon surface. It’s very important to only use the proper utensils while cooking and don’t overheat the pan. I absolutely love the glass lid, many skillets don’t offer a lid, I want a lid that can fit each pan I have. As for the other two that I bought, I was actually having trouble finding room to keep them stored in the box they came in but as luck would have it I gave one to my oldest Son and his new Bride, they told me it’s their favorite skillet! A friend of mine also had one of her Daughters that had lost her household items, so I gave the other one to her, so that worked out great for everyone. T-Fal is a reputable brand and they’ve been around for many years. I’d love to catch this on sale again for a bargain price, I’d buy a couple more just to have on hand.

These are my favorite pans period! They are lightweight and easy to clean.

Edit - I've now had this pan for about 3 to 3 1/2 years, and I was quite happy with it. After three years, the non-stick surface isn't non-stick anymore. While we do wash it in the dishwasher about once a month, usually we just hand wash it, roughly three time. We also don't use metal utensils with it. Even though it didn't last for a long, long time I was impressed enough with the pan that for the price (under $20), it was worth it to order another one, that just arrived today. It's funny to see how much the surface has faded in the three years, but I'm looking forward to having a non-stick surface once again! _____________________________ I've had this pan for about six months now. My wife loves it, my kids love it, and I like it. The Teflon surface is great. It hasn't scratched yet, and my kids do use metal utensils with this pan. It hasn't been in the dishwasher, so I don't know if it would still be OK after that. It went into a 375 degree oven for 20 minutes with no problems. The surface is VERY non-stick. One of my daughters was on the phone and forgot about the bacon she was cooking. The bacon was black charcoal, cooked at least 20 minutes past burnt, and the bacon and any grease rinsed right out of the pan without any work. I've never had anything stick to this pan. The only reason I give it four stars is because of warping. This past weekend, I was on my own, so I cooked my potatoes, bacon and eggs all it the same pan. It worked quite well, but I noticed that there is a slight warp to the pan. The eggs all ran the same way towards one side of the pan. It seems to me there shouldn't be any warp to the pan after six months, especially when it doesn't even go through the dishwasher. If it wasn't for that, it would be five stars, as the actual surface of the pan and the cooking are perfect.

I have nothing but good things to say about my T-Fal pans but especially this one. I use it every single day. It is the perfect size for everything!! As a family of four we eat a lot, and this pan never lets us down. It’s easy to clean, and great quality. Cooks evenly and perfectly every time!

I got this as a gift for my son. It ends up, I usually cook in it at his house! It is great. I can fit enough in it for four people. The non stick coating is wonderful, and the lid is perfect. I don't need a pan this big for myself or I would buy it for my home.

We've needed a large non-stick pan to cook with for a while now and after searching for a couple of weeks, reading reviews on multiple sites, we decided to go with this pan. *Large - We can easily place 7-8 good size hamburgers in this pan, which was the main reason we purchased it. We love making Hamburger Steaks with Gravy in it. Saute Onions, no issues, made a large Roux and Gravy, placed the burgers in the gravy, cooked 8 full size burgers evenly. *Bacon cooked nice and evenly, didn't have to use additional pans to make large batches of Bacon. *Cooks ground sausage and pepper gravy with no issue and no burnt bottoms - we needed something large enough to where we didn't need to use additional pans to double the recipes for larger servings *Eggs cooked evenly - scrambled eggs came out nice and fluffy - no sticking *Fried Chicken - no issues with that either. Allowed more space to place additional chicken breasts essentially cutting down the time spent standing over the hot stove (and anyone that's lived in the South with this hot humid heat knows we don't want the stove on any longer than necessary). *Able to cook large tortillas evenly for Quesadillas with ease (no more trying to make them fit into a smaller pan) *Clean up - It's nonstick which is a huge plus - makes clean up much easier - We never place our pans in a dishwasher anymore. So we've had no issues with the glass lid busting or with the pan warping. A little bit of Dawn and a sponge, quick and easy. I've used this pan 2x a day for a little over a week, heavy cooking, and it still looks brand new. For the price I paid ($15.95), I've already gotten my money's worth out of it. Do I recommend it? Absolutely!

We love our Tfal Jumbo Saute Pan it is great value and a great general use allrounder which we use everyday on both gas and in the oven. The surface is great and performance and ease to use and clean offering real value and user experience. We have gas hot plates and had purchased a number of expensive frypans that were not lasting but Tfal pan has been fantastic lasting a long time....we have already brought a replacement Tfal Saute Pan but won't be needing it for a long time
