Marvin's Magic Quirkology - Mind Games

I bought this because of previous reviews and because it is the type of game/activities that intrigues me. I purchased it for my 8 year old nephew who is into magic and mathematics!This box surpassed my already high expectations. There is a generous amount of tricks/activities in the box and they are extremely varied, not two activities are the same. Different people in the family had their own personal favourite and 'the box' entertained us all from the age of 8 to the age of 72.The best bit: some of the tricks will really have you scratching your head, one in particular. I don't want to insert any spoiler in this review, but, in my opinion, it is worth buying the box for one particular trick alone. It really had us all scratching our heads.I can't praise this box of wonders enough, it's funny, clever, entertaining, there's something for everyone and it can be played with again and again.It's great fun for adults and definitely suitable for children.The instruction CD is an added bonus as it gives you ideas on how to best present your tricks and illusions.Pros:- it really does deliver in WOW factor- one particular trick is worth buying the box, it will leave you scratching your head for hours- all activities are easy to use and tricks easy to perform, it will suit children aged 5-6 and up- true value for moneyCons:- none, but I hope they will release a second edition!

Really poor and the real pain is that unpacking it makes it impossible to return. Maybe that's the joke. Basically you get a few optical illusions. Bought this because of the reviews but really can't see the point. Maybe I'm missing something but the contents of this box are so well documented elsewherein 2018 as to be boring and obvious. I mean it's not a game it's not magic tricks it's really is just some visual effects printed on card or plastic items.

This has an accompanying DVD which is great for dyslexics. I use the kit with kids at school - it's fascinating and the kids love to try the magic tricks out on others. Instant social contact within well defined norms for ASC kids but not just those kids lots of others love it.

Big fan of Marvin's Magic products, always have bought their magic sets as a kid! Impressed with this set, great for entertaining friends whilst hosting a dinner party or similar! Would definitely recommend to others looking to spice up their evening, a change from the usual never ending monopoly game

Its perfect but there needs to be more! All it needs is more mind tricks as the ones inside are great just not enough tricks in the box for me as went through them all so quick.
