I absolutely love coffee! But apparently my stomach does not. Recently I’ve developed bad stomach inflammation and had to stop my coffee altogether. After getting better I went on a search for a good tasting decaf, which I wasn’t convinced existed. Until I came across this decaf.This is seriously wonderful. It has no bitter taste and is every much as good as my favorite coffee which is Dunkin’s Colombian. It’s smooth and a bit pricey but it’s worth it. I do miss the wake up affect of caffeine, but this great coffee makes it easier to forget that there’s no caffeine.

So recently I started a medication where I can't have caffeine. I tried several decafs... then read how companies decaffeinate coffee beans... Well... I don't want traces of rat poison or to get cancer... so I researched the Swiss water method and then found this coffee. It tastes absolutely amazing! Smells and tastes great. It's very smooth! Not bitter at all. If you need decaf you need this coffee.

I am a coffee snob and love decaf at night. This is the best decaf I have ever had. It is the closest tasting to regular coffee in my opinion. I've tried various medium roast, Swiss Water decaf brands and so far Counter Culture's slow motion decaf is the best Medium Roast I've had. Love it.My entire kitchen smells so good after grinding these beans too. Rich and flavorful. Love it! It will be in the permanent rotation now. ❤️

I recently became a Counter Culture Coffee Lover when I gave up big named grocery store brands.Having tried two flavors found locally I knew from the flavor profile that I would enjoy this. I ordered the double pack but only one arrived. Contact with the company both through Amazon CS channels and the company's email service, I was able to get the problem resolved quickly.You have to wait for this coffee to be roasted before shipment but it's so worth it. I received my replacement within a week.The company Counter Culture have great relationships with growers world wide. They support ethically produced, single origin beans sought out by coffee experts and specially selected for excellence. When I ordered this coffee I hadn't noticed that it was a dark roast. I didn't want a dark roast as I was concerned the oils from the beans would gum up my Encore. When I opened the bag the beans looked like a dark roast except that the beans were dull and not shiny from oil on the surface of the beans as most dark roasts are. I decided to grind them and WOW was I surprised in a very good way! The coffee was full bodied and delicious with a slight note of chocolate. It was very smooth and had no bitter after taste whatsoever. I have now about finished the bag of beans and have not noticed any excessive gum like residue in my grinder. I will be ordering more today. I am now a convert. Additionally, I love that this coffee is organic and is decaffeinated using the water method. I might also add that this company roasts the beans upon order AND stamps the back of the bag with a roast date and a best by date. Lastly, they have one of the very best coffee bags in the industry. (Counter Culture, please don't change a thing. Your decaf Slow Motion beans are a winner!)
