I read her "Fairest" series first and I was super excited when I saw she had started a new series. "The Iron Butterfly" is fantastic!! It is one of my favorite books and I was stoked to get my hands on "The Steele Wolf." I was not disappointed. It's true, this book is even better than the first. I love the characters. Thalia makes me laugh and cover my face at the same time! Some of the things she does are so funny and embarrassing I feel bad for her! But she is strong and loyal and I really love her as the main character. The guys are very different but both interesting and I think they are great contrasts that really add to the story. Joss is super sweet and likeable. Kael is hard on the outside but you can tell there is more underneath and his character really grew in this book. The world she has created is beautiful and interesting and most importantly, I think she introduces it very well. I can always imagine what she is describing and she doesn't overdo it with four pages of description. I love how she has continued the story and made it better. I also can't figure out who the bad guy is. In most series by the second book you can guess who the mysterious villain is. Who is The Raven?! Haha! Fantastic series!! I can't wait for the third book(there better be one)!!! Review: Another Fun Pastime - Before the IRON BUTTERFLY series, I wasn't Hahn's biggest fan. I thought she was ALRIGHT, but nothing worth buying. After reading IRON BUTTERFLY, I was fascinated. So it wasn't surprising that I eventually purchased STEELE WOLF. I still like the characters and I love this rendition of an old tale (or I should say a "done before" story). The grammatical/structural errors, though noticed, didn't irritate me enough to put it down. I like the direction that this series is going in. I also appreciate that she wraps up each book in a way that the reader knows there is more, but doesn't feel obligated to continue. The only issue that I have with this series (or maybe it`s her style?) is that there are A LOT of times that I am more aware of the main character's situation than what she is...and this story is told through the "I" perspective... I'm not referring to the who-likes-who aspect of this story. I am referring to the who-done-it aspect of the story. Or the supposed mysteries that arise within these stories. This would REALLY upset me if these books were in the genre of "mystery," but since they are not, it is just an annoyance. I know that her books fall within the "young adult" category, but it almost seems like the author doesn't think so highly of her intended audience. She dumbs things down in a way that simplifies something that wasn't really needed. Don't get me wrong. I still like the story and the series. I will, most likely, purchase the third book when it comes out. I hope that the third book will improve upon the issue that I (and I imagine a few others) have. Either way Hahn's series is a great time killer.

This is the second part of a saga good story from one of my new favorites ebooks auhors Chanda Hahn your stories are amazing.
The story itself is very interesting and enjoyable. It has adventure, love between Joss-Thalia-Kael both handsome and brave, al them have smart thinking in a difficult situations,They show different ways to resolve a puzzle, give you laughs, sadness because what happened to Thalia and Kael, and finally the Septory a group of people that in the name of science perform experiments on innocents just to develop more power within them. It keeps you in it at the moment your start reading it. Just you want to know what is going to happened after what you just red. That is why please Mrs. Chanda Hahn I am waiting already for the next third book of this saga I hope is coming soon.

awesome read
Wow. Nowadays its rare that my attention is kept continously troughout multiple books and there is NONE of the characters that I loath or just been irritated by throughout multiple scenes. BUT not this book. Not CH! So again entering into this amazing world was awesome fantastic and gave me all visuals without being an overkill in description but still umderstanding the city. Even we had less multi-place adventure here compared to book1 it was still interesting and entertaining learning about Skyfell. Luved also the romance side of the book! So thank you AGAIN! Im happily jumping onto the last book!!! :)

thank you Chanda!
I love all your books. The iron butterfly the first one in the series, was amazing and got my interest from the cover. Same with the unenchanted series. The story continues and is amazing. I read your books in one day! I can not put them down. I can not wait to get the next one! I hope this series never ends. There is a little drama+adventure+ a tiny bit of romance, and I love it! I can never find the books I like but, your books i love and are what kind of books I wanted. I like the adventure/romance but they are Impossible to find. I'm very picky on my books. But this series jumped out at me and I has to get it! Get this book! You will love it!

Couldn’t put this one down once I started. Such a great read with plenty of action, angst and romance to entertain. Number 3 here I come!

I really enjoyed this author's imagination. The world was vividly brought to life with the words the author chose. Well laid out, thoughtful, and impressively descriptive. I very much loved reading this. Thank you for writing it!

Having been brought up on "real" books the move to Kindle books has opened up a whole new world of authors to me & Chanda Hahn is one of the best I guess that this book is aimed at a younger audience (early teens) as it contains a degree of romance, violence and adventure. If you were able to suspend disbelief to enjoy the last (most violent) book of the Harry Potter series you should enjoy this dark and enthralling series. I read a chapter of a book to my daughter (age 10) most evenings and after working our way through "UnEnchanted (An Unfortunate Fairy Tale)" she asked me if there were any books by the same author. We tried The Iron Butterfly and she loved it. It was a story about a young woman named Thalia who finds herself imprisoned and tortured with no memories of why she is there. Without giving away any plot, she escapes and we are introduced to a host of new characters who help and hinder her journey to the Citadel. The Steele Wolf picks up where the the Iron Butterfly left off. Thalia is now settled in the citadel, with the help of friends and under the guidance of the Adepts and a Sword Brother she finds she is stronger than she thought. She sets of in pursuit of enemies but finds not everyone is who they first appeared to be... If Chanda ever writes a book 3 I will be one of the first to buy a copy.
