Dermot O'Leary joined BBC Radio 2 in September 2004, presenting a Saturday afternoon show. Each week as part of the show Dermot invites a whole host of acts to perform live. These artists perform both covers and new renditions of their own tracks and these performances form the Saturday Sessions. The Saturday Sessions is the original compilation in the series and includes Amy Winehouse, Rufus Wainwright, Kings of Leon, KT Tunstall, Bloc Party and many more big stars.

These albums are brilliant. There are better ones, but all really good tracks.

Pleasant mix
Not as strong as subsequent releases but worth adding to the collection.
