Parts Express Recliner Cable and Handle Replacement Overall Length 39.5" Exposed Cable 4.75"

We own two Ashley recliner sofas, which are about then years old now. The handle snapped off one sofa and though, we contacted Ashley furniture for replacement, they don't have them because they don't use these anymore. That led us to amazon to locate it and here we are. We purchased four in all because one never knows when another or all are going to break, too. Except for a stripped screw that was difficult to remove because it was apparently stripped upon the initial sofa assembly, this was easy to install. It is a mirror copy of the original. Highly recommend.

I always have a spare on hand . I like that this is an exact replacement for my coasters sectional. I like that they keep these things in stock. I don't like, that they're. just made of plastic and don't last me more than a year and a half. Hence the four stars rather than 5.

This is an EXACT replacement for the broken one on my Ashley reclining sofa. The handle mechanism actually looks a little stronger than the original. Screw holes in the right place. Everything where it needs to be. Took ten minutes to fix and my feet are up again. Ahhhh. An almost unbelievable bargain at seven bucks! Am going to buy another and keep it in my "parts bin" as I have two more Ashley recliners.

Bought this item to replace the recliner pull handle for the original in which the plastic split and cracked. It worked great, as expected, for 1 month. Upon proper use, this product split and cracked in the same way the original did. I now have to purchase a new handle in order for my recliner to work. Not happy with the workmanship of this product. Purchased a second one thinking maybe first was defected. Broke a month later the same way.

When my Ashley Furniture recliner cable broke I thought I'd never get a new cable since it's 15 years old but good old Amazon had replacement cables. This product fit perfectly and works better than the old one. This is a great product and priced very reasonably.

I bought 2 different release cables as I did not know which one would work, so I dont know if this is the one I kept and installed,, if it is, it worked fine.. Reason I bought 2 different ones was the length between the stable connector and the cable tip on how it fit into the chair.. But it was very easy to install and use.
