Great for single meals
This was almost restaurant quality. Nice selection of fungi in it. Prepared easily and results as promised. I have something new for the pack.

Fresh and Flavorful
Love this brand! Great quality with a delicious flavor profile. Make sure to mix well (stir up from the bottom to distribute the flavoring!). I had this meal just below 14,000 ft. at Ingraham Flats camp climbing Mt. Rainier. Just know that it may not cook as effectively (just as any other dehydrated meal) at higher elevations. I highly recommend this flavor/brand!

Awesome company. Awesome meals.
As a health conscious, vegetarian, rustic camper, I was thrilled to find this company. I try to live by the motto ‘Only eat it if you can pronounce it.’ They had a similar message on their package. In addition to being healthy and easy to cook, the meals were delicious!

Pretty good
So I bought this one and the smoked 3 bean chili, this one was surprisingly pretty good, the chili was not.Pretty expensive though

The replacement for noxious prepackaged freeze dried meals.
I gave up a long time ago on prepackaged backpacking meals. Other brands taste like overspiced paper and have a shelf life of 10 years - just think about that for a second, how much preservative has to go in a meal to make it last that long! I typically make my own meals by dehydrating home made food, but the dehydrator died... I had a trip and needed a couple of meals, and this was one of them - excellent flavor, and best of all, I didn't feel ill after a few bites as I have with other brand meals. I ate the whole thing and wanted more.

Recommended amount of water is too much water
As far as flavor goes, it's good. I like the real mushroom bits in there. And honestly, when you're backpacking miles and miles, anything warm and with substance is good in my books.I put in the recommended amount of water as per the package's instruction. Don't make the same mistake I did.*The recommended amount of water is too much water*It turned soupy instead of thickening up like a proper risotto :( And the flavor was less strong because of the high water content as well. Pretty disappointed.I would buy this again, and just experiment with less water.

Needs to be 1.5 to 2 meals in each bag.
This meal package was surprisingly good and filling. It wasn’t a restaurant quality meal, but it was descent. The portion size could be a little bigger. I am tall and workout often so I need a meal portion in these bags that will help tide me over between meals.

Yum!
This is my favorite meal for backpacking adventures. It's has a creamy, earthy mushroom flavor. I stocked up as I couldn't find them at my REI store. I hope they don't stop making it.
