Good product, easy install, fits 2019 Outlander
The product works great, fits 2019 Outlander GT perfect, install is easy and straight forward if you have any inclination to work on cars, the packaging really sucks and mine had a very small scratch from shipping, nothing a spray paint can of black paint couldn’t fix. It does stick out a little bit under the rear bumper, not as “hidden “ as the dealership option, but it is hundreds less than what the Mitsubishi dealer will sell you. Overall great product! Fast shipping!

100% Made in USA! Not made in the cheap China! Perfect for a Mitsubishi Outlander!
It fits perfectly right into my 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander. You do have to drop the muffle, but just take off the rubber mount, not the whole thing. When you have it over the muffler, just slip it over and put the bolts in to secure it. I forgot to put the spacers they include in the package, so dont forget it. It is pretty strong and made in USA...not that cheap China stuff fyi. It says 30 minutes to install, but it took me and one other person an hour because we had to hold it in place. This looks like a 2-3 person job. one person to hold it up while the other two securing it. It does hang kinda low but there is still some clearance and it does stick far enough from the bumper to have some space when you load stuff. You must get this if you have the Outlander. I got the 3.0 V6 GT, and this is going to work wonders in different stuff. Curt is made in USA...a must buy!

100% fit my Outlander 2019
Very easy to install, all the furniture comes in the package. Package was damaged, couple of scratches on the hitch itself, but it goes under the car anyways :-) It's a little bit on the bigger and heavier size, so during the installation you will definitely need an extra hand. But after that it's like a part of the car's frame. I use it for a bike rack and for couple of weeks didn't have any issues. Very good hitch!

Installation
The hitch was just what was advertised. It was easy to install ( even for a old fat guy) and works great

Solid Hitch, Terrible Packaging
The Curt receiver hitch 13163 fit my 2014 Mitsubishi Outlander just fine and looks good installed. My biggest complaint was the shipping. It arrived on time but the “packaging” left much to be desired. It was delivered on my front porch with a couple pieces of thin cardboard around it, not even close to covering the entire receiver and a taped package with the components and instructions attached. There’s also a pdf instructional manual on Amazon. I didn’t think much of it until I started installing it. Then I noticed all the scuffs, scratches and paint chips. Could have been from the shipping, but who knows? And once you’re in the middle of the install the last thing you want to do is think about how to return the thing and wait for another one to arrive. The receiver is too bulky to put in a box but bubble wrap would have been a much better alternative than what I received. After watching a couple of professional installation videos I thought it looked simple enough, but it turned out to be more challenging than I anticipated. You really do need a little mechanical skill to get things like the muffler clamps off and to safely lower the muffler. Be sure to have an extra pair of hands if you don’t have a way to lift and hold the receiver hitch into place. Be sure to use WD40 and a wire brush to clean out the nuts where the bottom bolts go. You will also need a torque wrench in order to properly tighten the bolts. If you can’t borrow one, Harber Freight sells them for $20. Once it was installed the hitch was pretty low. I went ahead and purchased a ball mount with a 4” rise so the trailer won’t be riding so low at the front.

Easy install feels solid
Super easy install, no need to drop the exhaust just lower the spare tire down and had plenty of room on 2017 Outlander. Only downfall is hitch sits pretty low you might need a hitch that raises the ball up depending on what you plan on pulling

Sturdy build, relatively easy install, but shipped with no box and was severly dinged up
Good sturdy hitch. Install was okay, although the pictures in the instructions were not very clear. The biggest reason I didnt give this 5 stars is the fact that the hitch was delivered with no packaging. It wasn't in a box and came severly dinged up. I called Amazom customer service and I received a mesage that she I had been blocked from speaking to a representative. I can only assume it has to do with Covid-19 and being short staffed.

American made quality
This is definitely a two person job.... And it does sit a little bit low but overall it is an excellent hitch i use it to attach my bike rack and to tow a small trailer for camping and it handles great
