Really nice amp for your sub, easy to install
This is my second Pioneer Class D amp and so far I'm really pleased with them. I paid full retail for this, no promo deal for me unfortunately. This is a great amp if you only need to run a sub. It's very efficient and can easily run a 12" subwoofer past the point of comfort. RMS (continuous) power is what you want to look at when comparing amps and 300 watts RMS at 4 ohms is plenty for the aging parent who harkens back to their younger days of bass laddened songs. The amp is stable down to 1 ohm so you have a lot of flexibility in how many speakers and in what layout you wire them up.I really liked the line level input feature on this amp. This feature means you can tap an existing speaker input (which in my case was the stock 8" "sub woofer") to provide both the input signal as well as the activation signal for the amp. In my particular car it already had a factory amp buried under the dash with no easily accessible sub output. Being able to get the signal from the existing 8" speaker (which wasn't doing much to be honest) was great. The amp will auto turn on when it detects current from your car's stereo which is really nice so you don't have to run another wire up to the car stereo (it will also turn off when the signal stops). The bass boost remote is really handy as well. It always seems that some songs have too much and some have too little so being able to easily dial up or down the bass to suit the song in question is pretty awesome. You can mount it anywhere but I have mine mounted on the left side of the steering column out of sign but within easy reach so when I (or my kids) want some more bass I can easily dial it up. When you see the police car up ahead you can dial it down and look & sound unassuming :).Overall it's a nice amp in a small package.

This is the standard amp for me
I've put this amp in several cars and run single and dual 10" kickers through it without any problem. It's the single most reliable amp I've ever owned or installed in a vehicle and I've installed a lot over the years. If I had to pick just one amp for a subwoofer installation for a new driver, an audiophile, or someone wanting a little more bass than their factory speakers can provide, I'd choose this amp every time.

Great lil amp
I love it. I got it pushing a Pioneer champion 12" and it sounds AWESOME. Just tune it correctly and it will sound right obviously. Great value, great brand. I will continue buying Pioneer products.

Decent doesn't quite handle my sub
It's an amp it works fine. Strangley it struggles with my Sub even though it's the same size amp as the JL amp that came with the sub and trips fairly often. But that could be user error

Awesome Amp
Great amp for the price. I had an alpine amp.that kept cutting off on me for some odd reason. After numerous times of trouble shooting I cam to the conclusion that a new amp was needed. This amp definitely gets the job done. On normal gain no bass boost and my car stereo 2 notches below even my system knocks hard. I mostly bought this amp for my future 1 ohm set up.

Extremely reliable and powerful!
Love these. I've had 4 over the years. Had the older version of this for a few years powering 2 10" subs when the truck was stolen and I got it back, did the same setup again with this amp and 2 10", in the back of an off road truck that gets thrown around hard, water on it, snow on it, mud, no airflow, you name it! Still going 4 years later. I have also had one on my last Chevy pickup powering 2 10" for 2 years, and just bought another truck and installed it with a 12. Sounds great, never had one fail and I have beat them hard.Quality and reliable!

Eargasms await.
I’m not one to write reviews. But, I feel compelled to do so. I paid about $100 for this amp. Only to connect it to a 2002/2003 Pioneer 12” sub (TS-W304C 300watt with 600watt peak). I kept my factory radio and speakers (2010 Ford Mustang GT with shaker 500 system). I thought I’d put the sub to good use even if the quality wasn’t the best. Well. Let me tell you, this amp packs the perfect punch for my old timer sub. Sounds awesome. I’ve only run it at half power (knob half way), since the sub is old, and it still shakes my seat and has heads turning at red lights. And have only had it installed for a little over a month now. But the amp has worked above and beyond what I expected. So if you’re in the market for a good bang for your buck, add it to your cart, and check out now! Make sure the specs match whatever the specs are for the sub you’re connecting it to first though. Luckily we have this thing called the internet for that. Once it arrives, go install it instantly. You’re ears will have multiple orgasms. You’re welcome.July 2020 update: Yup, it still works. I’ve hit up to 75% power on it. I’m still impressed.

So far so good.
This amp is performing well in the AZ summer heat, pushing a Kicker 12. Very easy to install.
